Seat swop for Cardiff game?

Post by Brucefanclaret » Wed Apr 26, 2023 5:04 pm

Hello, all. I am just out of hospital/rehab and would really like to see us get the trophy at the last match of the season. I am a pensioner season ticket holder in North Stand Upper, Block 3, Row H. As a result of sepsis, my mobility is still very poor and I will not make it up all those steps to my usual seat.
Is anyone able to swop me an accessible seat for mine? It has a great view of the pitch. My husband’s seat will also be empty as he is still in hospital - also a pensioner seat.

If you contact the ticket office I'm sure they will sort something for you.

Already tried them and sadly they just say completely sold out, despite me saying there would be two empty seats where we normally sit

Surely they could fit you in somewhere, maybe the disability areas?

They say not. Only chance is if there are any returns at the end of the week. Seems a long shot that they’d be accessible ones. So sad - not been able to go to any games since January when I was admitted to hospital, this brilliant year of all years!

I’m sure that would be much easier to get to! Thanks so much. Meet you before the game to swop tickets?

I had thought so too, Tony, but apparently not. Maybe the demand for this game is so high that they have sold these seats. Ticket office said to ring end of week, so I’ll do that on Friday. If they can’t help, then I’ll ask about transferring the e-ticket to me.

Just when you think that we are a club of the community who'll go out of their way to help supporters with such a need, computer says no.
Does my head in when these people hide behind the nothing we can do mantra. Yes you can and would if it was a member of your family.

It’s a shame no one can help.

Back in early 2014 I was on crutches for a few weeks and went to the games at QPR, Bolton, Bournemouth & Blackburn as well as home games. The four away clubs were really helpful both ahead of the game and on the day with help from stewards but I received no help at all at Burnley.

The BFCitC team usually hold the tickets for the seats I. The end block of the lower JH stand for the kids teams that go on the games

Think they release thes back for sale a week before the game

Thanks, wilks_bfc. Might just keep ringing ticket office until they get fed up with me! Although offer from GodisaDeeJay81 might just work.

Brucefanclaret - I've just emailed you from my personal email account. I've spoken to someone at the club this morning and been told they will be able to assist you.

Brilliant work CT!

Super to hear that Brucefanclaret will be at the game to see us lift the trophy after what sounds like a few bad months health-wise! :)

Despite being 'sold out' for the last few matches there has been plenty of empty seats in Longside lower block 9 every game.

My ticket is going spare, but my husband lost his when his wallet was stolen. So, it’s a female ticket. I don’t want money for it, small donation to BFC in the Community would be better? Fight it out between yourselves, guys! UTC!

My sister has used my ticket before ... its not a gender issue thing ... as long as folk are not trying to "adult use kids ticket ... or a 30 something trying to use a Seniors tkt

I had three opportunities to take my daughter on her first game (she’s four and desperate to go on)….

Sunderland game got moved to Friday at 8 pm

The missus booked a last minute holiday without checking the fixtures, meaning I missed QPR

Cardiff is the only one left, and it’s sold out!!
