BPF 6
Roberts 6
THB 5 - looking like he did early season, a bit slow, poor in the air and getting himself into awkward positions. Was a gem from about game 10 till his injury mind
Al-Dakhil 7 - gonna be a star this lad
Maatsen 7
Cullen 7
Brownhill - 7 Brownhill and Cullen made Scott look very overrated
Twine 6 - some good touches but a bit of hesitancy cost us chances, getting better though
Benson 8* - the magic man strikes again!
Vitinho 5 - harsh on Vitinho, I love that he can cover multiple positions but just not making an impact like the others
Foster 7 - shame for Foster to go off he was linking play really well and had a few chances

JayRod 7 - great finish
Obafemi - 6

BPF 7 - bit dodgy early on but did fine overall
Roberts 7 - snappy performance again, doesn’t stop
THB 7 - better passing through the lines today
Al-Dakhil 8 - impressive again, quick and agile
Maatsen 8 - defended well and sharp front foot play
Cullen 8 - all of our good passing moves went through him
Brownhill 8 - dynamic and his off the ball stuff is great
Twine 6 - v nice assist, but without the sharpness he had at Roth
Benson 8* - 4 in a row and a threat all game
Vitinho 5 - I know Vinny likes his energy but he just lacks any real quality, his finish from 5 yards summed him up
Foster 7 - shame he went off, was showing what he’s about linking play but also pace and power in behind

Jay Rod 7 - smashed it home
Obafemi 6 - couldn’t get him into the game at all

BPF 6 - Nowt to do apart from picking the ball out. Distribution was not bad
Roberts 7 - Good performance
Al Dakhil 8 - Pretty impressive display
THB 8 - Had a really good game. Much improved from last time out
Maatsen 7 - Much better from Ian. A throw back to earlier season efforts
Benson 9 - He is currently on a different planet. Opposition players know what he does but still can’t stop him. Absolutely sublime finish
Cullen 8 - Could call him The Clock…he makes us tick
Brownhill 6 - Slightly anonymous but I think maybe Cullen overshadows him. Neat and tidy.
Vitinho 4 - Harsh I know but he does absolutely nothing for me. His passing is wayward, tackling powder puff and produces the square root of nothing
Twine 5 - Gave a good ball to Jay Rod for the goal but that was about the sum of the good he did today
Foster 6 - Shame he went off. Looked lively but another player that looks short of the requirement for next season

Jay Rod 7 - Thought he played well, dropping off and helping out the midfield and defence and scored a good goal.

Should have won that game comfortably but our 2nd string weren’t as clinical in front of goal. I’m guessing the big guns will be back for the last game.

Was it just me who thought Obafemi was good when he came on? Didn’t do much going forward but we were under the coach a bit at the end and he used his strength well. Put a few decent challenges and blocks in.

Peacock Farrell 6 - His distribution isn't as slick as Muric but he isn't a disaster at all.
Roberts 7 - He has become as consistent as Cullen
Harwood Bellis 7 - I hope we see him next season
Al Dakhil 7 - A quality player in the making
Maatsen 7 - Another I would like to see next season
Cullen 7 - Mr Consistency
Brownhill 7 - Clapped then booed by the Robins fans :D Steady enough game again
Twine 6 - I still think he is too lightweight although his skill is evident
Benson 8 - Amazing he has perfected to art of scoring the same type of goal and it's unstoppable! **
Vitinho 6 - Suffers a bit from being our utility man
Foster 6 - Unlucky to be injured so early, he needs to catch a break!

Subs:
Rodriguez 7 - Took his chance very well and ran the channels closing down quickly.
Obafemi 6 - Never really got into the game.

A Champions performance really and I watched it on Robins TV. Their commentary team were very complimentary throughout and also they talk to each other in a composed manner rather than scream and shout!

A spirited comeback by Bristol City having been dominated for all of the first half.

BPF - 6 - think he's ok. Didn't think he'd be here next season but maybe VK thinks he's fine as No.2
Roberts - 7 - do think he'll struggle next season defensively but he is a very clever footballer and is a great inverted full back
THB - 6 - think he's still getting up to speed
Al Dakhil - 7 - really like him. Has that combination of pace and reading of the game that top flight defenders need.
Maatsen - 6 - quiet but was sound generally
Cullen - 7 - never less than a 7 this lad. POTY for me
Brownhill - 7 - unlucky not to score
Twine - 6 - good composure for Jay's goal made up for his error in the first half
Benson - 8 - becoming ridiculous now.
Vitinho - 5 - looks like what it is: a full back playing on the wing. His body language was a bit sulky today too. He deserves a squad place next year but I hope we won't be seeing him on the wing in the PL
Foster - 6 - needs a break, felt he might have notched today if he didn't get the head injury.

Rodriguez - 7 - good hold up play and great finish. Really pleased for him

Cullen has been outstanding recently, like all season really.

The most influential but understated midfielder in the Championship, criminal he wasn’t in the team of the season .

It's due to his position I think. Many DMs are underrated.

No Stand out players really. All had good moments. Twine i felt sorry for. Found himself in space a few times begging for the ball into feet, that never came. Foster was growing into the game when the headclass forced him off. So another unlucky there.
Wished we went long a little more often. BC were pushing us further and further up, needed just the odd long ball to push them back.

Fans 10. Party atmosphere from minute 1. Even sung a song for the BC women's team.

From tv
BPF 6 couple of dodgy moments
Roberts 7 another typical performance
THB 8 he’s finding his class back after injury
Al Dahil 8 this young man is a bit special
Maatsen 7 defensively sound
Cullen 8 Mr. Consistency
Brownhill 7 covered a lot of ground, as always
Twine 7 some lovely touches but he needs to be involved more
Benson 9 mom, plus one for the goal. The dog with a balloon hasn’t had a bad season, has he?
Foster 8 should have scored but very his most impressive performance since his introduction, shame he had to be subbed
Vitinho 7 put in a a great deal of hard yards

Rodriguez 7 good to him back, wish he were four years younger
Obefami 7 good cameo

I remember when a point away against any team was a good result. This was an away win against a strong home team, which we just accept as the norm now.

BPF 7
Roberts 7
Al Dakil 7 (-1 for being easily beaten for their goal)
THB 7 (does he lose the header which leads to their goal? Not sure)
Maatsen 7
Cullen 8
Brownhill 7 (got a great reception from the home fans as clearly a favourite in those parts and I felt it made him take a small step back maybe?)
Vitinho 6
Twine 7
Benson 9
Foster 7 (was looking good and although he missed a couple it looked a matter of time before he scored until the unfortunate head injury)

Jay 7
Cork 6
Obfemi 6
Taylor 6

We were miles better than what are clearly a pretty decent team with a good home record and we should (yet again!) have been out of sight before letting in a very sloppy equaliser from a long ball where (once again) we failed to win an important bread and butter header which allowed them in. Turning our clear superiority in matches into actual goals has at times been our Achilles heel I feel. That aside we strolled around and played some excellent stuff. The atmosphere was really good, the locals were extremely friendly and the pubs are some of the best on the "football circuit" and Benson's goal was (once again!) a thing of real beauty!!
