It's unbelievable isn't itBigChaCha wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2023 7:41 pmI personally think the opposite should be the case... When it is absolutely clear someone who takes great pride in being seen to be in the know and in reality, is definitely not, it shouldn't be an issue for someone to question it... If it was anyone else, the treatment of those would be far more harsh in terms of scepticism and cynicism!

Could somebody create a compilation of Weghorsts highlights, I know only a few so maybe double down on lots of camera angles of the same highlight to get it to last longer.
Also add Arabic writing to the video and hopefully we can flog him to a Saudi side

When we’ve signed someone, the club will announce it. Refreshing this page won’t make it happen any quicker.

Real shame about Verbruggen. But he isn't the only player we can sign this summer that will have resale value in the future. We move on.

Shut the thread for me, and just rely on when we know we will know. The toxicity of this whole group is beyond belief considering we all have the same interest in BFC. ClaretsMad was exactly like this just before the departure, and I hope it doesn't come to that, but I could not blame the mods if it did.

Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
He already said in an interview that he would love to play for Burnley and that the manager's style of play suits his qualities. The only thing is that Genk will want to cash big for the king of assists who broke the record this year.
And it looks like VK is aiming more for players around the 10-15 price range. Trésor might go for 20-25. He's hot right now. At the end of the transfer window the cards will be stacked differently. Hard to say if Vinnie should make a move now or wait for opportunities. Trésor is a decent player but so far he hasn't been very consistent, playing a great season in the Eredivisie followed by 2 average ones, going to Genk and being average, only to have an awesome second season. Hard to say what's next for him.
So I don't think Burnley would actually go as far as pay 20 for him, although it would be an interesting move that's for sure. His technical abilities, dribbling, passing, creativity etc are top class.

Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
Why don't you just not read the thread? Why would you want a reasonable discussion to be shut down? Of course the conversation will veer off topic before inevitably returning, but this is a chat forum - what do you expect? I haven't read anything toxic, can you show me some examples?ClaretAL wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 10:29 amShut the thread for me, and just rely on when we know we will know. This thread makes me laugh every season, it's as if some people think that people discussing other things is stopping the actual transfer activity from taking place.
Any transfer news yet? Durrrrrr

To be fair I’ve not had an idea about most of the signings we’ve made in the last 12 months . It’s the young centre back from Cremonese.

Seems to fit the profile. A deal similar to Beyer's last season would make sense.Foshiznik wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 1:36 pmFurther links with Coulibaly. This is one i would love to see come true.

Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
Redmond wouldn’t be one to excite us, but for Prem experience and versatility across the 3 behind the forward , on a free he would be a useful addition.
Given that this may allow us to spend more on our top targets whilst also filling a squad gap then it could be a smart move.
Not particularly bothered either way on this one.

Surely nobody turning their nose up at potentially Redmond and maitland-niles both on frees, that would be top business for the squad
Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
Been told Lawrence Vigouroux has joined. Bit underwhelming as the first signing since the window opened. I assume he will be third keeper.
