we are already seeing it and you are spot on, that 60 -70 million won't get us any value especially trying to sign players from the Championship. Plenty of Sunderland fans wanting 20 million for Jack Clarke !! You absolutely can't blame them for wanting that but it's massively over priced at that valuation imho. We will have to find some gems from around Europe/South America if we can to get the numbers in we need.

The problem is finding gems that are premier league ready is incredibly difficult and even they can cost north of 10m (Vrankx being a good example)

Brighton are to an extent, but a lot of there talent has a season or two at there sister club to develop before moving to Brighton on the cheap.

Mitoma being a good example of that.
Victor Boniface will likely move to Brighton this season and will more than likely do well

Took I lot of interest in Sunderland matches last season when they were on the tv and always thought Clarke was excellent, would be delighted if we signed him.

I also watched a few of their games and thought the same, but until I saw he's stats didn't think there was much end product, but clearly his stats say different. I'd expect vk could continue he's upward curve so would be a steal at 10m, but it's also imperative we get tella back and if the reported 15m gets him that would also be a steal. So potentially that's another 25m on top of the 20m already spent on beyer and o'shea, which begs the question, how much do we have.

I don't get the point of a 'disguise'. I believe it would be far more acceptable, and perhaps even welcomed by most on here, to have a resident Rovers fan, if said fan could provide some balanced insight to threads. Mate opinions are fine and you are entitled to them, but there is nothing realistic about your Foster opinion it looks like you are on the wind up especially when you said he needs a season in League 1.

Millwall would be great experience for McNally, whether loan or sale. Regarding what we could sell him for, we bought him for a fraction under £2m, and his spell at Coventry should have raised his value. For me you would think £4m-£5m but I am no expert

I don't think he doesn't suit our system, just unlucky that we are blessed with CBs. I would happily keep him, I think he has a future, but it would be unfair on him to remain as 4th choice when so many good championship sides are courting him.
If he does go, I'm sure he'll go with everyone's good wishes.
