I hope he hasn't pinned that tweet just now, it shows a lack of respect doing this before it has been done

He's just pinned this post from last year

Welcome home nathan
That’s been pinned since he signed for us.

Maybe third time lucky for you?

I tend to agree; I am currently of the opinion Sheffield have the worst squad with Luton second worst.

Looking just at squad quality I would say Bournemouth have the third worst squad.

Not saying that’s my bottom three for this year but on reflection of squad quality I think they are comfortably the three worst

You could argue it is disrespectful and he should have taken it down the moment he left the club, Southampton are paying his wages and he is showing how delighted he was to be elsewhere.

I think if you wanted to slag Pace off you'd point out how unbelievably crass it is to relate Nelson Mandela's jailing to Nathan Tella not signing for Burnley
I was just about to post the same. As cringey and unprofessional as the video is, it's also in pretty poor taste.

That’s an interesting signing.

I thought he was decent for Birmingham. Perhaps a new CB partner for Azhmedohvic (however you spell it)

Surprising we’re only loaning the likes of McNally and Peacock-Farrell.

Is that with the intention of them hopefully impressing and us getting a higher fee in a years time like we just did with Bobby Thomas?
More likely that McNally has the quality to replace the inevitable sale of some of our CBs.
Not wishing them gone, but the way they have performed for us, suggests that sooner or later other teams will come sniffing.
If we are to make a success of this buy to sell model, it is dangerous to lose a player, THEN go looking for a replacement. You need players ready to step up, who you know and trust. A conveyor belt, just as in the 60s.

I would guess that it's not the thread that people find annoying; it's certain posters pretending that they're in the know that is quite annoying.

I make it two more at least:

- Those who constantly like to pigeon hole people into camps, even though the variety of views they have about the club show that they are generally well balanced.

- Those aforementioned folk who are generally well balanced

I know people don’t like talking about Everton but they have just agreed a few for Youssef Chermiti, looks a promising striker.

I don't think is daugher could have posted that without the support of Burnley's social media team. The editing and camera work are too well done.

I think NT must be a done deal, and this is part of the reveal.

improved bid for Boey.
I think there is going to be a flurry of exits from our squad right before the transfer window slams shut.
Maybe we are following the Chelsea model of having 342 people on loan....

Weren't Gala allegedly interested in Weghorst? Maybe a deal to be done there on that basis?

Boey looks a bloody good player. On my customary inspection of his credentials via YouTube he looks like a step up from Roberts (meant with no shade intended, as Connor has been frankly brilliant since November).

From YouTube clips Boey looks like one hell of a runner. Got some skill too. Looks big and powerful, perfect for the PL. If we could land about another three of these still being mentioned (Tella, Lakonga, a fullback - Boey if there's anything in it), relative to budget you'd have to rate our transfer window up there as one of the best in the league this summer. Or maybe it's just giddiness after a few years of scraping the bottom of the transfer barrel at the end of the Garlick era. But anyhow, we're casting a very wide net, and with the disappointment of Coulibaly aside we seem to be getting a lot of our targets.

‘Understand Burnley have NOT agreed a fee for Southampton's Nathan Tella, despite social media action.

Expectation is that Tella is likelier to sign later in the window as one of final deals Burnley see through. Targets in other areas the priority at present.’

Whilst I think he might be right, Will Lancaster is not a source of anything. A journalist who only posts about Burnley rumours? Aye, alright.

I can’t see how Lokonga isn’t seen as a priority.

Bizarre and for it to seemingly be endorsed by the Chairman.

Lokonga not being seen as priority is intriguing. For me, central midfield is the glaring priority.
