The low part would be zaroury at 4m and selling high at 20-30m, or koleosho like I said at 3m

Doesn’t matter about what the average is for the premier league, you base it on what is classed as low and high for you as a club, to me the only low deals for us are koleosho and obafemi as they are under 5m
You’ve got this totally wrong.
The low part isn’t the fee itself, it’s a fee relative to the what the potential max value is for a player.
Put it in terms of stock - there’s plenty of penny stocks that you can buy high at fractions of pennies that will never make any money where as there’s stocks like Tesla a few years back would have still cost significantly more relative to a cheaper stock but was still nowhere near its top end value.
Case in point here for a real life example would be Jude Bellingham.
Dortmund paid a significant fee for a young player in the hopes he’d turn into a world beater with their coaching etc and they turned an initial outlay of €30 million or so (which was a lot for a 17 yr old) to a €100 million asset.
Birmingham didn’t have the capability to improve him in such a way due to the level that they play at and also less talent in the squad.
We’re simply trying to do similar to this with some players, albeit on a slightly smaller scale (for now)
