The first comment on page 300 will be confirmation of Tresor falling through 😬

He's considered under 21 so wouldn't need to be named in the 25 man squad. Only option left is for Poch to tell him he's not part of his plans, but then if Chilwell is injured it means Cucurella is the other option, and Poch would be mad to put all his eggs in the Cucurella basket, so keeping Maatsen in the fold makes sense. Shunning him out would just be done out of spite. That's not good business, and would make him less inclined to sign an extension, which is their preference.
Ah, didn't realise he was still under 21.

Anyone else heard the rumour that Tresor isn’t happening.

Something to do with wages during the loan?
That seems unlikely.

Even though, the same principle, as you mentioned will still apply. If they want to move him on, tell him he won't be near the team.

Close to an excellent window but as it’s turned out, we’ve left gaps which should have been addressed. Let’s hope it doesn’t cost us.

When you're competing with Cucuralla I'm not so sure Maatsen will believe that!

Calm guys. 1hr 44mins to deadline and then some won’t have cleared the paperwork so you won’t hear until tomorrow.
We are all allegedly Clarets. Whatever weapons VK has at his disposal on Saturday get behind them.

Depends what stage the deals are at.

I know there’s a lot of drama on here tonight, but can’t help think VK will be feeling very deflated with no LB coming in. Tactically I think it changes his whole approach to the upcoming season if he has try fit someone like Taylor or Delcroix in there

Yes VK will surely be disappointed by tonight but he’s been in a better position than anyone to sort this, so he’ll have to adapt accordingly.

I thought we didn’t put all of our eggs in one basket with potential signings anymore?

Seems very much like Vinny was desperate to land Maatsen and was happy to risk going until January without a suitable alternative in order to land him. All goes to show how difficult it is for a club like ours to land our top targets. Small fish big pond etc.

Someone said it's "humiliating" that Lakonga went to Luton over us, so maybe there's a teensy bit of bedwetting going on, IDK.

Bold statement and would be sad if he goes home and holds his head in his hands because we haven’t signed a Left Back. It just won’t happen , best we keep our emotions in check
