Leeds v Toon
What do we reckon about this one then?
Eddie going for the top positions, but can Allardyce conjure up something so save DL.
Going 1-2 Newcastle here.

Sending this from Puerto Del Carmen in Lanzarote.
Lots of black and white stripes in evidence getting ready for the match. A few Leeds ones, lets hope theyre as disappointed as the crestfallen Owls i saw last night.

I can see Leeds getting a 1-0 Allardyce masterclass win here.
Re: Leeds v Toon
Several Leeds fans in our local pub last night all saying they are doomed
Re: Leeds v Toon
As funny as it would be to see Leeds. Relegated, it would be even funnier to see Everton going down instead.

Re: Leeds v Toon
Leeds could get away with losing tbh, although not ideal for them
Forest have Chelsea and Everton have City, both could lose those games and stay within reach of Leeds.
Newcastle have enough to win but BFS is a wily old manager so will be interesting to see how it pans out.
Newcastle to win, 1-0

Re: Leeds v Toon
No it has to be Leeds for me. They should and would have gone last season if Brentford has turned up.

As much as I think (and want) City will batter Everton ... it would be funny to watch a Shaggy "I hate Dyche" meltdown if Everton won
On a serious note its a "Leeds and Everton" to drop for me

Re: Leeds v Toon
Apart from the historic rivalry with Leeds, my understanding is that if they stay up, they will gain significant investment via the San Francisco 49ers this summer. Everton most likely will not. So for purely economic reasons I hope Leeds go down and Everton do not. We can compete with Everton next season.

Being a Yorkshireman , Leeds have just got to go down

Re: Leeds v Toon
Newcastle were very disappointed to lose to Arsenal last weekend but should be too good for DL. Toon have a strong attacking starting team out today and a pretty decent bench, should be capable of getting a few goals. I'll go for 1-3 and I'll be watching this on BT offering my support to the away team. Wilson and Isaac both to score I hope.

What a turning point. Leeds look well up for this though. Let’s see if that goal will knock the fight out of them.

Fair do's to Allardyce, whether Leeds win this or not, he's got them playing a lot better than the last chap.
Mind you that wouldn't be hard....

Incredible decision to not book Firpo for the deliberate hand ball.
