The big guns will be after Di Zerbi pretty soon.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 6:23 pmPotter couldn't get Brighton to score goals and that issue followed him to Chelsea, Di Zerbi is a different level to Potter, Brighton are excellent under him

Arsenal lost the title when they had that recent run of 3 drawn games meaning they basically had to win all remaining games to have a chance of the PL title.

David Weir running it now at Brighton - maybe will depend on how long Ashworth’s legacy lasts.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 6:29 pmit will be interesting to see if Brighton continue to find these gems then, you would expect so

Re: Arsenal v Brighton
imagine watching a team of young lads push City until the last few games of the season and then walking out and showing them no support. ******* Arsenal fans, other than a few that stayed to the end they are seriously plastic

Potter was never anywhere near as good as was made out by some.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 6:23 pmPotter couldn't get Brighton to score goals and that issue followed him to Chelsea, Di Zerbi is a different level to Potter, Brighton are excellent under him
Re: Arsenal v Brighton
Its a funny game this football. Thrashed by a Sean Dyche team - yes the negative useless Mr Dyche - one week and then tub Arsenal the next week. This is football its wonderful. The one constant at the highest level here is Pep.

Credit where credit is due for Brighton. They were brilliant today
Re: Arsenal v Brighton
Made up for us,all those Arsenal games at the Turf, late goals robbed blind,Lee Mason decisions etc, what goes around comes around, eventuly, long time coming, looking forward to playing them next season, with our new manager and young vibrant team,UTC.
Re: Arsenal v Brighton
Even though Ashworth was great in his time at Brighton and has been doing well since he officially joined back in June 2022, i think the real credit needs to go to the data set up Brighton have and the excellent use of Starlizard they get.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 6:36 pmDavid Weir running it now at Brighton - maybe will depend on how long Ashworth’s legacy lasts.
All this will remain, while Tony Bloom is there.

Well yes, to a degree.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 9:01 amBlooms very large pockets are the key to Brightons success.
The powers that be at Chelsea aren't without a bob or two, as their spunking of more than 600 million on total
misfits would attest.
So its not just the money, its how its used.
As others have said, Brighton have an excellent manager.
