I work with a few Bradford fans who aren’t big fans of Dara Costelloe.

yeah doesn't look like he's done that well for them, I can see him either going out on loan or being sold this summer tbh

Re: Bradford v Carlisle
Real shame about Costelloe - I thought he showed some promise against Huddersfield & Luton at home - obviously not Championship title contending level but I thought he'd have thrived on loan at Bradford.
Time to let go...

Lovely looking pitch for end of season League 2.. there's a few Championship clubs could do with employing Bradford's groundsman

Best mates a Bradford season ticket holder and just says he doesn't offer anything. He doesn't look rubbish but he doesn't seem to have a single attribute he excels at.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 8:35 pmah ok, fair enough !! What have you heard about Costelloe ? Doesn't seem to have made much of an impact
If you think about it he was like that with us that he never looked poor or out of place but he didn't really offer anything positive.

yes I think 'neat and tidy' would be how I would sum him up after what we saw at the beginning of the season, nothing more nothing lessDevils_Advocate wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 8:39 pmBest mates a Bradford season ticket holder and just says he doesn't offer anything. When they signed him they asked me if he was any good and my view was that he'd done ok in his games for us so Id expect him to do well in League 2 but I couldn't tell them what'll he'd give in terms of pace, skill, goals etc
Re: Bradford v Carlisle
He will probably sign for Leeds thenDevils_Advocate wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 8:39 pmBest mates a Bradford season ticket holder and just says he doesn't offer anything. He doesn't look rubbish but he doesn't seem to have a single attribute he excels at.

Dara is only 20 and needs more experience. He’d reached the point when he was too good to be playing in our under 21s.

Re: Bradford v Carlisle
That JCT600 sponsorship of Bradford must be one of the longest in the football league. Seems to have been forever
Re: Bradford v Carlisle
Not a lot to be honest. The view from those that I’ve spoke to is that he’s not really done enough, when given the opportunity, to cement a place in the team.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 8:35 pmah ok, fair enough !! He’s a young lad trying to find his way but I’d have thought he might have made a bit more of an impact at League Two level. There have been a good few occasions where he’s not even made the bench but not sure if that’s due to injury or form.
I wasn’t as convinced by him at the beginning of the season as some seems to be. Hopefully we can find a good loan for him next season, somewhere that he can get more game time and learn his trade.

They agree to keep it going on an annual basis on the proviso that the ground sponsorship change each year.dandeclaret wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 8:59 pmThat JCT600 sponsorship of Bradford must be one of the longest in the football league. Seems to have been forever
Even Bradford council have got fed up of amending most of the road signs for the ground.

Yep. You need to pick ONE team from each Div in a £10 treble. NOT 2 from league 2

Chap comes in the Maypole with his wife is a City Fan ... not very complimentary about Costelloe ...
He said we had got a cracker in Josh Cullen who was on loan at BCFC a couple of seasons ago ... but isn't keen on Dara C at all

I'm not sure what was worse, the game or the officiating. Both were shocking.
After watching the NL final both Notts County and Chesterfield played better football than them two tonight.

I’d be surprised if Bradford beat Carlisle bearing in mind that they (Bradford) were relegated from National League North in April …
Bradford (Park Avenue) FC - Bradford
Bradford City - Bradford City

Always quite poignant when Bradford City are at home on tv. Those empty seats at the bottom of the stand are left empty in honour of the 56 who lost their lives there, I believe.

I often wondered why they always appeared to be empty, I’ll ask that question of my neighbours who are season ticket holders at City.Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 7:28 pmAlways quite poignant when Bradford City are at home on tv.
