Re: Today's footy 20th May
Why is an Everton playing feigning injury and wasting time when they're losing
Re: Today's footy 20th May
I think they have fallen out with McNeil. He keeps screaming for the ball when he is on his own and they keep going down the congested right. I would have thought they would keep giving him the ball with the way he has been playing lately.
Re: Today's footy 20th May
I never thought I was sexist until now. I'm watching Optus sport on a stream and had to turn the sound off because the two female commentators are so dire. I wish they would sod off with all this diversity stuff.

Re: Today's footy 20th May
anyone able to explain to me why the ref in the Liverpool game was asked to go to the monitor to decide on an offside ? You either are or you aren't surely that's the entire point of the VAR lining drawing ?

Dyche playing 4 central midfielders and his top scorer at left back. Never criticised him before but that’s a bit weird.

Big Vinny is a proper manager.
Re: Today's footy 20th May
9 mins extra time at Wolves and even that's not enough. Some of them could get jobs as professional time washers.

A 99th minute equaliser for Everton! Could be a massive goal.

Re: Today's footy 20th May
Everton will always stay up. Just like last season they will always ensure a team the size of Everton get enough points to stay up. Would be bad for the brand if a club of that size went down.

Everton fans I know definitely not saying that. They tell me he’s inherited a complete mess.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 4:57 pmfair to say the Everton fans aren't impressed with Dyche at all

Time to be added on should be clear to everyone in the stadium, just stop the clock - and not allow some numpty to make something up

Looking at the fixtures ,unfortunately I think Dirty Leeds, and Everton will both stay up,can’t see Forest ,and Foxes getting another point.

They understand the mess he inherited.
They appreciate that the team has more fight in them now
They'd probably be happy to have him in charge next season if he is allowed to overhaul the squad

It’s becoming a joke now and there’s no logic to what’s added on.SalisburyClaret wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 5:06 pmTime to be added on should be clear to everyone in the stadium, just stop the clock - and not allow some numpty to make something up

Oh I think there is a wide acknowledgement of that. I was talking about their meltdown today online for thinks like throwing the hopeless Maupay on again instead of Ellis Simms etc. Maupay is stealing at living in the PLClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 5:06 pmEverton fans I know definitely not saying that. Meltdowns online are hardly a gauge. I speak to a number of Everton fans I know and they understand the mess at that club.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 5:11 pmOh I think there is a wide acknowledgement of that.
