2-1 Luton

Just feel that they’re a better ‘team’, and have that extra bit of edge that could get a result when plan A isn’t necessarily working.

Two good managers, probably say Cov has the better individuals (Gyökeres, Hamer) but think the machine of Luton will be too much on the day.

Should be a good game!

A hard one to predict - they drew both games this season so it could well be an extra time and potentially penalties job.

If I had to have a guess, I’d go for Luton in extra time.

My head wants Luton to win but for my mate who is a Coventry fan, I’d be happy to see them go up.

Either way, I can’t see either lasting more than a season.

I’m in the rare position of really not having much preference. Two clubs I quite like but, with niggles about both.

Coventry after 90 mins. Extra time or penalties

A lot depends on the ref - Luton are very physical so depends what he lets them get away with

Prefer Coventry for McNally’s sake

Pretty evenly matched, I'd say, depends on who wants it more on the day,
as is so often the case.

Or a great piece of skill, or an horrendous mistake.
Can't say I'm really arsed, as long as it's a good game.

Mind you, would be great to see teams like Chelsea rock up to Kenilworth Road
and gasp with horror at their surroundings.

I really hope Luton win. And win well. I can't do with Coventry, the Midland's smallest 'big' club.

The club that would struggle the most in the PL.

Coventry financially are a loose cannon club. So perhaps them although they could spend they don't have in the PL and go unpunished. Back to Luton, then.

Couldn't believe Coventry were in the finals.

This is more unthinkable than where we were at Wembley. To think what their situation was when we were at their gaff is just... unfathomable

I know who I'll be singing for

Coventry will be too strong for Luton. The wider pitch will make it more difficult for Luton, imo of course.

Not a lot in it, Wembley is 75 yards versus Kenilworth Road at 72 yards. What's that, 4 and a half feet on each wing? Coventry have a 74 yard wide pitch by comparison

Sometimes I think the whole ‘How will they cope with the bigger Wembley pitch’ is a bit of a myth.

I’ll be surprised if it’s not a very tight affair, of little quality and heightened anxiety. Probably 1-0 either way (hopefully Luton can do it).

This will be an awful game of little quality between two quite rigid and nervous teams. 0-0 or 1-0 to either team.

Coventry 2-1. They have the momentum and will have the larger support reported they will have 37k. Also for Mark Robbins, an under- rated manager who has worked wonders when you consider all the issues Coventry have experienced in their recent history.

I've bet (very small amount) on it to be level at HT and Luton to be winners at 90 minutes. Maybe 2-0 to Luton.

I'm not that fussed who wins otherwise- I don't have any strong feelings either way about these two.

So far since my move to Northumberland ,I haven't met another Claret out and about, but I have got pally with a Luton exile, so it's them for me.
Plus it'll annoy the bigwigs in the Prem, having an unfashionable club with a crap ground. They'll be the new 'us'.

My best mate is a Luton Town supporter so I want them to win.

I also played on their ground many years ago and even scored a goal there.

So a win for the Hatters it is from me.

Probably prefer Luton on this one for a number of factors , main one being whispers down here that if Luton did go up they may be looking at a ground share with MK Dons because their ground doesn't qualify for what's needed in the premiership. As I say just whispers so don't shoot the messenger, second factor is that i live just outside. Buckingham so it's 15 mins for our tie 😁. Third factor is it would just show MK Dons how shoite they are doing trying to run a football club 😂

Oxygen mask on his face on the stretcher, saw his hands move towards his head whilst being carried off, so seems he is awake.

Seemed to fall over whilst backpedaling. Was conscious, so presumably a leg injury rather than something more sinister.

Hope he’s ok.

Anyway back to the game, Coventry all over the place at the back today. They need to sort themselves out. It's only gonna take putting the ball on target for Luton to be scoring

That’s what I thought, could be a nasty ankle or ACL thing. We get so used to players rolling around you forget that when you’re seriously hurt you just lie still.

Anything more serious / sinister and it’d have been a much longer delay than that. Anyway, hope he’s alright.
