Congratulations Sean Dyche
Re: Congratulations Sean Dyche
Anyway, it won't be long before Mr D knows whether he is still in or out of his job.

Re: Congratulations Sean Dyche
Congrats to Sean definitely but I am disappointed they stayed up yet again by the skin of their teeth. They have toyed with relegation too long and though I have no dislike for them they need a relegation to re-group I think. Super goal that kept them up though.

Re: Congratulations Sean Dyche
Great achievement for SD but I hate this stay in the prem at all costs attitude they need a rebuild just as much as we needed it if not more and we now all know (if we didn’t already) that it is much easier to do in the division below. Clearly there are risks associated with a club the size of Everton but relegation would have provided them a much needed reset opportunity 1 that will cost them 100s of millions (again) in the prem. sometimes it is better to accept the lose for long term stability rather than short termism of staying up 1 more season.

Re: Congratulations Sean Dyche
Not just the result, but the performance at Norwich was abject.
We were crying out to play more on the front foot, but week after week, the team selection and set up remained the same. We were going down with a whimper if SD stayed.
Nothing will ever take away what he achieved for us, on and off the pitch. A worthy legend, but he'd come to the end of the road.
I think part of the problem was he wasn't aligned with Alan Pace on the direction AP wanted to take the club. He used his 'team' to try and prove a point.
History will look back and show AP was right.

Well done Jakub, you certainly caught a bag full, AGAIN. Thing is, like usual, you also shitted up what started out to be a good thread.

Remember walking away from the first game of the season,1-2 v Brighton. Obviously disappointed with the result but the ominous signs were there as clear as day. Attritional football wasn't working anymore. Protecting one goal.leads was coming.undone.

Re: Congratulations Sean Dyche
Because I disagree with the general consensus, it's only natural it'll crop up with him saving a club from relegation & him leaving here when it was uncertain if he could have done the same thing earlier, I might not go to the games for my own personal reasons but watch the games on the television & that season things weren't great but I do think some nappies needed changing after the Norwich result the signs against everton started to look promising.Billy Balfour wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 12:33 pmWell done Jakub, you certainly caught a bag full, AGAIN. If he was (like DA does) it would be mildly funny the first couple of times !!
But the scary thing is he’s actually serious with the nonsense he posts and the annoying thing is that as you say he ruins every thread he gets involved in.
Re: Congratulations Sean Dyche
This thread is now totally unreadable thanks again to Jakub and his “nobody knows anything with 100% certainty” routine. No ******* **** Sherlock.Billy Balfour wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 12:33 pmWell done Jakub, you certainly caught a bag full, AGAIN. Unless, of course, it’s his faith that Dyche would have kept us up. That can be filed next to gravity, thermodynamics etc.
