It was 75 minutes of helter-skelter play where wales could have had about 8 fairly comfortably, and a surprisingly interesting Armenia team showing them how to finish.
Even at 2-4 down you could have little complaint about the level of entertainment. Armenia's first goal was a beautiful strike. Both defenses getting caught out on the counter time and time again.

Wish I thought that we would witness much like that in the Premier league next season - but we won't.

The ref ignored any hint of play-acting early on, and there wasn't much of it about until the Armenia goalkeeper felled kiefer Moore, as much by accident as design as he was on the floor with Moore taking a couple of steps backwards looking at the action in the other direction. Should have been two yellows, if that in moore's case, but the goalkeeper suddenly remembered he was a footballer and feigned a non existent injury - although it was he that had got hold of moore's legs as he started forward again. Needed var review and didn't get one.
After 10 mins of the usual pathetic play acting kind of stuff we get to see every week, it went back to being entertaining again for the last 10.

Several players had an off day at the back. If Hennessey is too old, OK, but the back three have no confidence when he's not there. The ex Stoke now Sheffield utd keeper should start instead of ward on Monday, please. The keeper ratings last season he got for Leicester don't lie.

They’ve always been a minnow, their tournament qualification rate down the years backs this up. The media love-in for them during Euro 2016 was well over the top, and they themselves held an open top bus parade of Cardiff on their return from the tournament. Every so often a fairytale happens at a major tournament, Morocco last year, Greece winning the Euros in 2004, Denmark also after replacing Yugoslavia in 1992. Greece have done nothing in football since then, arguably neither have Denmark, so 1 semi- final doesn’t make Wales a major force, they never were, nor will be. Now they’ve lost Bale, admittedly a great player, and the just above average Ramsey, they are making up their team with a few decent players, and some bang average Championship players. Will be quite a while before their next media love-in I feel, they have to qualify first.

Wales first step ,get rid of Page ,will always be looking for grandparents etc to get players as Ireland did ,the world Cup was a huge disappointment and should have sorted the manager then ,Wales will return but don't hold your breath, not even going to bother watching the turkey game ,clueless manager and rubbish defence, sorry needed to vent that ,utc

Wales in 2016 was hardly just one player. You don't have a record of p3 w2, d1 against Belgium in a single competition with only one player - and one that was quite often missing through injury.

The one that was really missed Friday was Joe Allen.

Saw the highlights last night some great finishing from the Armenia forwards, one thing i noticed was Connor Robert's throw ins
they was reaching the penalty spot on occasions.. always seemed to loop them high without reaching the edge of the box for us ..
