There is a very unhealthy "rivalry" going back to Conference days (Clive Walker and all that) between Woking and Stevenage fans. Obviously not in the same league as Burnley and "that lot" but not good all the same.

Perhaps the mentions of Woking have confused people.

Drury to take over on Sky. Excellent choice. The best TV football commentator there is.

Very grateful that there's always an alternative stream available, with different commentators, whenever Drury is on. I cannot bear to listen to his voice or his schtick.

Drury is great - at least he’ll sound vaguely interested in the game unlike MT. Daniel Mann deserves some PL games now, too.

I dont like Peter Dury.

I hate the way he shouts the 'outcome of an outcome.'

Say Man Utd need to win to qualify for the Champions League, and they win a last-minute penalty. If Utd scores, he'll shout 'Champions League!' as soon as the ball hits the net... you don't notice he does this... until you notice it - and it's irritating.

The guy on Sky sports who does the championship also is a bit annoying with his gargling voice and "planting their flag in the ground" in every big game.

I also think Drury is way overrated with his pre-determined phrases.

None of them are perfect I guess

Saw this just now,

Although Tyler has enjoyed a glittering career as a commentator, he is also a respected football coach. Tyler even coached Woking between 2018 and 2022, working under manager Alan Dowson and winning promotion to the National League in May 2019.
