Echo the sentiments above. He always came across as a nice guy, and a football man. Heard some nice stories about him on TalkSport today. They gave him a real ribbing on Fantasy Football League in the 90’s, did Baddiel and Skinner. Always portrayed him as Sooty. He always seemed to take it well.
