Any Australian win with the cheat in the team is tainted.

Let's hope we're not going to be giving cheap wickets away, and try our best to post a 100 without loss to start with.

I think Bazball might be All out ball pretty quickly with this Aussie attack on this surface..

Wood will come in for the rest of the series, and I think Jimmy will be the one to go I'm afraid.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 1:01 pmI really like the look of that Tongue. Looks a great talent

I’ll be surprised if Wood is fit for three tests in a row.

Re: Ashes Second Test
First wicket gone at 91. Superb piece of work by Carey to stump Crawley for 48.

Re: Ashes Second Test
It's just a headless chicken shot from Crawley, we just don't seem to be able to resist being over exuberant, cheap wickets in my opinion, just giving silly wickets away, don't see the aussies playing silly shots like that, but good work by Carey, but Crawley should never have given him the chance.

Re: Ashes Second Test
Disaster as Pope throws his wicket away
Re: Ashes Second Test
Completely idiotic from Pope that. Especially as they're a bowler down
Re: Ashes Second Test
Commentator just put the kiss of death on Root by saying it's the best he has seen him playing.

Re: Ashes Second Test
Aussies just drawing us in, just don't be drawn, it's not rocket science, they'll get fed up eventually, why keep taking this pull shot on. Baffling.

Re: Ashes Second Test
Guys, we’re nearly 200-2 playing an aggressive style. That involves taking some risks, sometimes it will come off, other times it won’t. There’s bound to be the odd poor decision. This is better than trying to stay in the game and still losing wickets from unplayable deliveries.

Its a shame though, I really enjoy watching Lyon, this series needs all the best players at their best (A lot will disagree though )Vanders1994 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 4:40 pmCould this be history repeating itself Australias premier bowler getting an injury just like in 2005
Re: Ashes Second Test
Yes, but at times it is completely brainless! You’re 180/1, bowlers starting to look a bit ragged, forcing them to revert to the short stuff with 5 fielders on the fence behind the bat and we gift them catching practice by planting it straight down their throats. Ridiculous Cricket!
