Are there any British managers who have influenced domestic game like Pep ?

All the pundits state he has at times almost revolutionised how the game is played in Britain, especially England, eg playing out from the back, false number 9 ( whatever that is ) etc.
For me the only ones I can think off who have really influenced the game and others have copied are Brian Clough, his style was amazing for the time, his quote of if it was meant to be in the air all the time the ball would have wings, perhaps Clough wasn't copied enough, Shankly and Paisley, possession based and good to watch again not copied enough, also Graham Taylor and his percentage football ie whack it forward to the big/fast guys and see what happens, possibly copied too much so much so he got the England job and set us back years.
Are there more, are these realistic selections ?

The obvious candidate is Sir Alf Ramsey who revolutionised British Football in the 1960s by ditching the 2-3-5 formation and creating the ‘wingless wonders’ who won the World Cup. Every single football league team followed suit. Or so it seemed at the time.

Pep just uses pre-existing ideas.
Even on most lists Pep isn't number one of most influential managers/coach's
Wasn't there a coach from the Burnley area who went on to do big things in European football because English football was stuck in its ways?

I would include Arsene Wenger and Bobby Robson. Robson was apparently a big influence on Mourinho.

Wenger is a good shout, also Mourinho, tedious tactics but when they work you win things, a few managers have copied his approach.

We played a few clubs last season who still utilised Don Revie's defensive tactics

I think George Graham influenced Mourinho, 1 nil to the Arsenal and all that meant.

Jimmy Hogan - who played for us too: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Hogan
His influence was more felt in Europe to begin with, but it was eventually brought to our shores by the Hungarian national team that beat ours 5-2 at Wembley.

Jimmy Hogan's pass and move game with wingers won us promotion last year.Yet commentors still praise the back passing and sideways slow build up game.
