Taylor Harwood-Bellis to Wolves?

Post by It Is What It Is » Thu Jul 06, 2023 8:10 am

Looks like Wolves, Brighton and Everton are circling around THB.
Hope it's just rumours but his England U21 captaincy to the EUFA Final at weekend has raised his profile considerably.

I think McNally looks much more a Dyche type player than THB tbh.

If Everton are allowed to sign anyone with their White Elephant at Bramley Dock burning up money and their lack of cash I will be amazed
While I appreciate the role THB played last year I do feel the two cbs did excently when called upon Personally, I would sooner we devote all our efforts in securing a new striker.

What makes Bramley Dock a white elephant? It’s a new stadium which they need and will sell out

It’s going to look superb when it’s finished, although I do wonder how 50,000 people are going to safely leave a stadium that only has access on one of it’s four sides!

Water slides connected to the upper tiers would be handy

Of all the loan players we had last season THB was the one I wanted most to resign, no matter how many CB's we may have. It was disappointing losing Collins but this lad for me will have a more successful career than him but he needs to be playing regularly in the PL. I still convinced if he was allowed to leave City, then we'd surely be in with a shout.

I wouldn't say white elephant but they do have something like a £350m funding shortfall on it.

The funny thing is THB started well enough, got better but with the emergence of Beyer and then the signing of Al dakeel & Ekdal who both got playing time because of THB’s injury I felt that yes I’d like to sign him but that we needed Tella and Mattsen more and given the choice of Beyer or THB I’d have chosen Beyer and maybe even Ak Dakeel too

Rather have re-signed Tella, personally.
And who knows, that may still happen.

They have £135m from MSP Sports Partners incoming - the SEC papers were filed on that over a week ago - the plan is to turn that loan into equity in the future and there is talk of more funding from MSP once they are in the door and settled.

MSP are likely to want to control the boardroom - They have at least two UK Everton fans in their group who are ready to take a seat
