Emergency Plumbers
Emergency Plumbers
Anyone know any reliable ones covering Barlick / Colne area ? Need more of them. Most are only interested in big jobs. Think I’ll do a course myself. Thanks in advance

Try this guy pal:
He's called Noor, Asian guy, dead sound. 07475978821.
Not sure he covers your area though, worth a try.
He got to me within four hours last time I used him.

Re: Emergency Plumbers
Ring Your local college if you have plenty of these small jobs.
Get the 3rd year students on them.
Or pay the going rate. Which won't be cheap if it's an emergency.

Re: Emergency Plumbers
It was good advice.
A 3rd year plumbing student should be able to work out most problems and fix them for you. As they're still not fully qualified you'd have got the work done much cheaper.
And even though you sought out good advice and received it, you've thrown it back in the poster's face.

I wonder how quick you'd get your 'emergency' sorted if you rang the college?Rowls wrote: ↑Tue Jul 11, 2023 3:55 pmIt was good advice.

I think whatever is living in your head is more of a concern than me taking the p**s out of blue passport botherers Andrew!

Thanks for the replies. Got sorted now anyway but it’s really helpful this board sometimes.

I'm definitely ringing the college next time I need anything doing.

I used to be a plumber, but now I’m a missionary.

Re: Emergency Plumbers
3rd year students will already be Level 2 qualified and probably just passed their level 3.
I know a few people that have used trade students for projects, they get experience and the college tutors sign it off.
By his post he seemed like he only needed small jobs doing that normal plumbers wouldn't touch, due to lack of money on the job?
Ideal for a youngster getting in the game.

Re: Emergency Plumbers
Of course they are going to be supervised. They wouldn't want any of their students going alone into some internet nutter's home, now would they, 4midable?

Perhaps the (old (many are)) stop tap has seized or snapped?
Of course, ring the college. Silly me.
