Lol at people in Burnley saying London

And how on Earth are DAB radios in cars overrated? Do you prefer awful sound quality and far fewer stations to choose from?

Go to London, I guarantee you'll either be mugged or not appreciated. Catch the train to London, stopping at Rejection, Disappointment, Backstabbing Central and Shattered Dreams Parkway.

CFS atmosphere

Sounds ok when you’re in there, but rest of ground can hardly hear it.

The people who sit in there go on as if it’s like the Giant Wall at Dortmund.

Going on the match. It’s so much more comfortable and easy to watch a dodgy stream at home or watch final score etc

Come on, read the post titles please. This thread's about stuff that's OVERrated and I've yet to meet anyone who thinks JB's anything more than bang average behind the stumps, with most folk rating him a lot worse than that.

Constant dropout, as least with the more advanced FM car radios, the signal just goes fuzzy for a few moments and then re-tunes to another frequency. DAB just goes quiet until it decides to come back on.

If your local takeway sold Dominos quality Pizza, people wouldn't use them.
Good grief I hope you have a different Dominos Pizza in the UK then we do in the States, that stuff is dreadful here.

Quick to the door for sure, so if the kids are having a movie night and get the munchies, great it's cheap and quick. But not good pizza.

So, now in the spirit of the thread, things overrated. Hot drinks of all sorts. Even on a cold day.

Station availability is inconsistent. In many areas you can't get a single station.

You can also get lots of buffering; Greatest Hits is terrible for it, constantly jumping backwards and forwards mid song.

Don’t buy supermarket bacon. A quality butcher or deli should be able to supply bacon that will satisfy your tastebuds.

I never usually buy supermarket meat, but even butcher's bacon doesn't do it for me, unless it's on a bagel with cheese and cranberry sauce. Which somewhat negates the decent bacon.

Not too sure about this as they did a lot of influential stuff late on but Paul Mcartney on his own is arguably one of the most overrated artists, along with Maddona and, in my opinion, Frank Sinatra.

It’s not the quality or choice that is a problem, it’s half the time it loses signal. Better FM all the time than DAB some of the time. To be honest I have worked in studios and still I cannot tell a whole bean of difference in quality anyway.

The really good thing about threads like this is they show the brilliant diversity of thought at the subjective level. What I like or dislike can be countered by someone else. And the reality is, no matter how strong the opinions are, no one is right or wrong. Nobody can say ‘this is rubbish’ in the absolute because it just means they personally don’t like it. For instance all the anti-Leeds rhetoric that goes on on here I find amusing because I don’t have an issue at all.

One man’s meat as they say.
