Yeah, it's called planning.
So will the card arriving in the next 10 days affect your plans?
I’m working on the basis I’m going to the Turf on the 11th and there is a 99.9% chance my Team Card will be in my pocket.

This very much depends on your makeup I suppose.
I'm Aspergic and it matters a lot to me.

Only time there is any point in panicking is if everyone has there’s and yours hasn’t come or if it’s Friday morning on 11th August and nobody has them.
Until that point, it’s a wasted worry. But very typical of this forum.
Couple of friends of mine are now on holiday and returning that day from said holiday. They will be heading straight to the Turf. They contacted the club about it and received no help at all. I wouldn’t say they had a wasted worry.

I wouldn’t sworn my holiday worrying about if my season card had arrived. I’d assume it will be on the doormat when I get home.

But they are heading straight for the Turf on return before going home. They will get there without tickets.

I have spoken to the club.
You are able to have your ticket emailed to you by QR code if you need to attend without your clubcard.
You will need to phone through to the ticket office to sort - which seems to be pretty easy with no real wait time.
Hope this helps.

The games are shown with your seat number under the Team Card section of the club app
Don’t understand why a QR doesn’t just show in the Ticket Wallet for it already

Apparently once they release the QR code your season card is unavailable for that game.
I guess it could get a little messy if you generate your own QR code, forget you've done so, then attempt to use your card.

Evening all,
I was just wondering if anyone has had their season ticket through for this season?
Still no sign of mine as of yet and getting a little twitchy with it being less than 2 weeks until the City game!
Gaz

Why are the club wasting this time and effort replacing the cards so often, when other forms of plastic cards last for quite a few years without any scanning issues?

That's a good question - we seem to get one every couple of years

Something I have mentioned many times
There’s no need for getting new cards every 2 years unless you’ve changed seats or price category

I think the lettering is mainly claret, so Claret, blue and white.
Also it will be easy to distinguish between old and new cards.

Ours have just been delivered, surname begins with S by the way.
