I know he has his fair share of doubters, but I find Pace upbeat and refreshing. He’s working hard and enjoying the ride and trying his best to make the Club a Success, and its fans happy to be a small part of seeing their club lurch however reluctantly into the 21C. I enjoy his warmth and wish him all the very best.

well from that short video he seems to be the same with his family as he is in front of the cameras which I think is a good quality.

Not driving - a taxi from the Netherlands to Belgium, according to that video.

Ok. Why did they not fly to Belgium directly unless the nearest airport to Genk is in Holland ?

Bingo

on another note, can you explain why you think/what is it that makes it cringeworthy ?

edit:btw, I'm not after an argument I'm just interested to see why someone thinks that way

No argument from me. My first response to watching it was why on earth did they think anybody would be interested in watching them travel to Genk. It just made me cringe and that’s it. If people enjoyed it as you clearly did then great. Maybe the next vid will be a family trip to the Supermarket
He is doing a great job running his football club so far. I sincerely hope that continues

it's not that I particularly enjoyed it or otherwise, I just think it's unusual and good that Alan Pace is willing to allow one of his younger daughters the opportunity to put it out there. It's the sign of a good supportive parent and he came across like he does in front of the camera's when he does interviews for us

His daughter appears to work for the club now but I think this can be considered under 'personal social media' rather than anything more than that.

At least the younger ones in his family are showing an interest and have become fans. I see this as a positive thing, rather than a negative.

Maastricht airport in Netherlands is less than 30km to Genk. The nearest airport in Belgium is nearly double that.

Just for some perspective, and because the negative voice gets amplified on social media, there was one sole negative comment on this thread.
But it's also true that folks do enjoy a grumble, which would, I suppose, explain the responses below the negative comment.

Not really my thing but a lot of younger fans enjoy it and I fail to see how it was in any way 'cringeworthy'.

Burnley is progressing massively on and off the pitch, much of it as a 50 year old I am not going to pretend to understand (Dude Perfect for example)

We are finally looking at being a global brand, not before time.
