Benfica game was intense but fair.

This game is just a bit dirty. Wouldn’t be shocked if we see another red

Don't recall ever seeing so many cards in a friendly
Betis seem to be treating this like every minute is the last minute of a title/relegation dogfight. Never seen a team so physical in a friendly.

Koleosho looks decent.

Very nippy, agile, low centre of gravity.

Foster doing well, hopefully silencing some of his critics.

The usual friendly caveats but we’re more than holding our own against a team that finished 6th in La Liga last season

Snap judgements made based on friendlies are hilarious.

Didnt we get hammered in all bar one of our friendlies last summer?

Has Kompany ever sent a team out for a second half that wasn't improved from the first half? Whatever he's doing at half time, it's working. Goal aside, this is a better second half.

Defending that corner is the closest Foster has been to scoring for months.

Foster is a player I really, really want to turn things round for us. Same with Weghorst tbf.
He looks like he just needs that confidence boost and bit of love. I dunno if we have a sports psychologist in our setup but might be an idea. If he can bag an early goal in the league feel like he could have a good season. In an ideal fantasy world they each score vs City, one starting one sub, but, when that happens I'll wake up 5 minutes later.

Except he’s come closer in this match. What on earth was Trafford doing though for that corner that flashed across goal ?. We’ve been decent second half and some nice flashes from Koleosho.

I've often though that if there's anything holding Foster back it's his focus. That and the fact he sometimes seems too nice if that makes sense. He's got technique, work rate and physicality, he just needs to be sharper and more aggressive mentally.
