I thought we had a new company doing the food, pretty sure it was £4.40 for a crappy Hollands pie tonight. Nothing’s changed.

The small lass in the Bob Lord middle bar was painfully slow at pouring lager.

thirst I’d wager
Re: Bob Lord Food concessions
The Alex Elder in the BL looked to be low on stock when I got there before the match - even basic stuff like tea and coffee.
The shutters were down on half of it at half time with huge queues.

Haffner’s kiosk is inside the fanzone.
I had a meat and potato pie (cheese and onion was also available) with mushy peas and gravy. Yes, it was £6.50 - BUT - this was top tier. I’d rather pay that for the quality, size, perfectly heated and the accoutrements than ever suffer a Holland’s again. Lovely stuff.

JHU was ridiculous and definitely a backwards step. No more meal deal, £4.20 for any hot food, and if you got a bottle of soft drink they had to remind the top and throw it in the bin meaning you had to hold it all match or rusk it getting knocked over, which then means you can’t applaud???

Re: Bob Lord Food concessions
The pre match situation in the JHL was very poor indeed . Nowt up with the order machines but having to queue then, queue again for a pre match drink was chaos and certainly reduced the amount of product sold ,not to mention any spontaneous purchases, didn’t see anyone drinking Bennys either .
I get the half time pre order as it allows them to pre pour with zero excess, though didn’t do anything for the queues , total shambles . God only knows how the Bob Lorders managed with the machines .

Re: Bob Lord Food concessions
I thought they were £4.20. I believe we had no option but to stay with Holland's because of previous deals set up but they are Haffner's in he fanzone and they are likely to be in the ground when it's possible.

Re: Bob Lord Food concessions
I guess patience is needed early on, but it was poor in the BL last night. The kiosks were understaffed. Lids on hot drinks didn't fit, milk in lots of little sachets and not readily available without asking. Some food not on clear display. Men's toilets out of soap, sinks with their frames missing. Not very EPL.
Plus they've changed the big screen design so on the back couple of rows of the BL we can now no longer see the clock, nevermind the fact we have bever been able to see the rest of any screen!

Re: Bob Lord Food concessions
I started at half time in the queue, didn’t move for 5mins so gave up
Re: Bob Lord Food concessions
What a pity. Sounds like Compass!
Re: Bob Lord Food concessions
JH Upper. Pre match, no milk for tea or coffee. Half time still no milk. Surely can’t be too difficult to arrange enough milk for brews
Re: Bob Lord Food concessions
For an afternoon game the same fare is much cheaper in the 110 clubjedi_master wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 8:32 amHaffner’s kiosk is inside the fanzone.
