Owen Coyle in India
Husband has just arrived back from a business trip to India with the local Chennai Times of India newspaper. I was flicking through and stumbled across this for anyone interested.

Dont think he's even seen his ankles in a while.
So can't really see him going Toe to Toe anymore....

One of my favourite Burnley managers. He achieved something I thought I would never see at Turf Moor - premier league football.

With hindsight yes but at the time he made the decision that was best for his career.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 1:05 pmhim jumping ship has to go down of one of the worst career decisions

It looked like he was leaving us behind, but as the Irish would say - It's a long road without a turn.

Re: Owen Coyle in India
The guy started managing us 16 years ago! Of course he has aged, it's going to show over that period of time especially going from the ages of 41 to 57!
...I would also throw in that without promotion that special season we wouldn't have had the amazing recent years we have had - yes it ended poorly but we owe that guy a hell of a lot!
I for one wish him the best over there
