"Our season will not be determined by a game against Manchester City. I’ve lost none of my enthusiasm for the season and I’ve lost none of the belief I have that it will be a good season for us."
You and me both. I've never enjoyed a 3 - 0 defeat more and I'm actually now more optimistic about the upcoming season than i was before we kicked-off.

On TV it said that Guardiola was yellow carded. I don't know what for.

I can't say I particularly enjoyed it but I do think there was enough from us to give us some confidence.AfloatinClaret wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 3:24 pm"Our season will not be determined by a game against Manchester City. Good report. Does anyone else skip to the end and read the final thoughts before reading the whole article? I do it with books too, its a bad habit

If that result had been against Fulham or Brentford, say, it would have been a worry.
But it wasn't, it was against probably the best club side in the world.
That was not the performance of a relegation side.
