If you can't attend the match
If you can't attend the match
Please make sure someone else has a chance!
Lots of empty seats ladt night - probably hols. What a pity when others who want to attend are unable to take advantage. You get a refund too!
Help others, as you help yourself.

Only if the person taking their will boo the players before the match starts.
Re: If you can't attend the match
We have 2 hols booked ... Before the Fixtures came out ... As luck would have it both fall in weeks where BFC are either away or theres a break ... how ****ing jammy is that
Re: If you can't attend the match
What is the actual procedure in order to do it, do you ring the ticket office.

Phone up ticket office tell them your Clarets number and say you wish to bank your ticket. You then get an email and £13 is credited against future purchases eg cup games or away fixtures. Our tickets are seniors hence the £13. Family illness prevented us attending so we banked v City.

But not if you're a CF stand season ticket holder.

Are any points deducted from you?Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Sun Aug 13, 2023 6:48 amPhone up ticket office tell them your Clarets number and say you wish to bank your ticket. You then get an email and £13 is credited against future purchases eg cup games or away fixtures. Our tickets are seniors hence the £13. Re: If you can't attend the match
I had wondered if any of the points you gain from buying a season ticket would be deducted when selling back games you can’t attend. Ticket office told me this am that points are not deducted. Apologies if you already knew this.

Re: If you can't attend the match
I'd like an assurance from the club that they wont decline to renew season tickets if they judge that too many games were exchanged back.
As it is i'm happy to just let my friend use my ticket if i can't make it. The Villa game being on a Sunday, being the first example.

I sold my ticket back online and it was dead easy, but wasn’t able to do the same with my son’s. Tried to phone but nobody answered, sent them an email but nobody replied.

Re: If you can't attend the match
I have been looking at the zombie seats at TM (seats that have no regular occupants for over 3 seasons, but are still covered by season tickets) there are around 700.
I have been told a block of tickets in the BL were bought a couple of seasons ago by Liverpool fans just so they are guaranteed a seat for matches. I don't know how true this is? I wonder if anyone else has noticed anything similar?

Re: If you can't attend the match
Is it a fixed amount they give you depending on the stand, or your season ticket price divided by 19 matches?

Re: If you can't attend the match
It's a fair point, if a complete nutter buys your seat the people around will probably assume it's your mate you've let have it.ClaretAndJew wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2023 9:24 pmOnly if the person taking their will boo the players before the match starts.
Re: If you can't attend the match
As the club have sold tickets for every match this season there will no doubt be plenty of supporters who have bought individual ones for games further down the line but who won't be able to attend when the time comes.
Have BFC indicated whether those tickets can be sold back to the club who would then put them back on sale?

Re: If you can't attend the match
There were virtually no empty seats round us for the City game which is highly unusual for a season opener when a lot are on holiday. Not sure if that’s the new system working well. We had a spare and took a mate on but will definitely use the system in future in the unlikely event we can’t find someone to use it.
