Players with Fantasy League teams
The Mail have published a story about Brownhill, Cork and Muric all having Haaland as Captain in the fantasy teams this week. Aside from it being in the mail, should players have fantasy teams and is it akin to betting?

Yes they should have fantasy teams (if they want) and no it isn't akin to betting.
There's also not really anything to say the source of the claims that these are our players teams isn't just made up.

There hasn't been any link suggested between this, and the team selection from Friday, has there?

Astute decision. Shows they are cut out for a future in management.

Tbf the screenshots make it look like them. There names are on them and they are linked to the individuals in some manner.daveisaclaret wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 12:26 pmYes they should have fantasy teams (if they want) and no it isn't akin to betting.

Not fussed either way tbh. But I did find it interesting the Burnley players they selected. Maybe tells us who they personally think will play well this season.
Muric had Amdouni.
Brownhill had Roberts and Beyer

Problem is, Haaland has broken the game. If you haven’t got him there’s no point even bothering

Zaroury clearly trying to nobble all his colleagues who'd picked him.

It's not akin to betting as they are not going to make owt out of it, just a bit of fun, reporters nothing else to do but slag us off, wonder who Haaland had? Himself and Rodri, feckin cheat.

Re: Players with Fantasy League teams
Just had a look at the player’s league for a laugh, easy enough to find, it appears Twine is top after week 1, after wisely dropping all the Burnley defenders
Bit of innocent fun and team bonding as far as I’m concerned, a shame if they get forced to scrap it with these silly newspaper stories. Also good a lot of the new foreign lads have joined in, I know FPL is worldwide but it must be trickier if English isn’t the first language.

I see Kieran Trippier has three Man City players in his squad, wonder if there will be the same outrage when Newcastle play City this weekend.
Re: Players with Fantasy League teams
I remember Jelle Vossen being top of the entire game when he was with us, or maybe shortly after he'd left.

You would be more concerned about the players that didn't pick Haaland
