I think they’ll vary it on perceived demand.

You’d hope so else it renders the new system pointless.

It'll be 2200 for low allocation/high demand games.

How many people have over 2,200 points?

There are a lot more with 2,000 points than there were with 6,000 previously

A new loyalty system as bad as the old one. Time to scrap it.

Hopefully then the Club will take the maximum allocation available for every game, unlike the previous regime!

I am surprised, the 5 people on my F+F list with over 11k points all got knocked down to 1950 or below. ST holders who go to cup games and 5 or 6 away games a season.

Maybe they think for a Monday night game the demand won't be as great?
You'd like to think for Newcastle away on a Saturday afternoon they'll put it up a bit.

Loads of people still have the incorrect number of loyalty points.
Not surprisingly the ticket office have made a lot of manual adjustments and have been pretty inconsistent with how they have applied these.
For example - the Olympiakos home game. Some fans been allocated 50 points and others 10 points. I rang the club shop and they said they would increase my points by 40 points as this game was only showing as 10. I checked a few days later and they had increased it by 70 points !!

I know someone where they had missed off a full seaon ticket of points and they adjusted it when he rang up.

Worth checking your loyalty point calculation / breakdown and ringing up if you think it’s wrong.

The Olympiakos at home game was 50 points if you downloaded the match on your ST card.

They were trying to stop extra tickets being printed.

Interesting to see how quickly/if we sell out for the less appealing i.e long diatance/mid week PL games.

Felt urged to be on refreshing the page at 10am, but imagine that was unneccessary. Luton game has scarred me...

I had 9000+ points, a mate had 7000, the highest required was always 6000, so we could buy tickets together
Now I've 2000+ but he's on 1900+ so if the highest required is 2000 we won't be able to buy at the same time....madness

So he's less than 5 away games from being able to sit next to you again.

If we sell out at 2k points it's great news for the club.

We won't sell out at 2K. I'd guess we've sold about 1000 so far looking at the seat map.

Those with lots of points and those with few points have the most to gain, those on the edge who used to be in the top bracket, but have slipped under the threshold have lost

If it was a new system then it's fine, but to replace a long standing system it's flawed

I would have left it as it was

Anyway it's been done to death and nothing we say will change it, no point spoiling another thread, I was just being polite in answering your question

Too many people want a closed shop so it's unlikely things will change for the better, to be more inclusive anytime soon unfortunately.

So they've just shuffled some people inside or outside the shop. Looks like I've been moved outside now with my sub 2000 entry.

I hope the club don’t use this game as an indication for decisions on future away allocation.

Given it’s 3 weeks after the cup game, midweek and 3 times more expensive it’s quite likely we will get stung if it’s sale no return.

It’s not a fair indicator with it being a Monday night game. It was one I was considering attending if it was a weekend game, but it’s not. Not sure I can leave work early to get there at the moment, so may make a last minute decision if there are still tickets available nearer the time

Newcastle will be the big tell but I can't imagine any away game selling out on day 1 other than Luton.

And you'd imagine that games such as Brighton probably won't sell out, unless we are doing incredibly well in the league.

Isn't this the point of it though? For those who do regularly go on together but have a current mismatch in points then there is the chance for the lower one to catch up.

Obviously a particular issue for children as it was previously pretty much impossible for someone under 16 to get to 5,000 points and buy a ticket at the same time as their parent.

So we have to catch up.....on something we were already in the same group for, ie. Over 6000 points.

I had 9000+ points, a mate had 7000, the highest required was always 6000, so we could buy tickets together
Now I've 2000+ but he's on 1900+ so if the highest required is 2000 we won't be able to buy at the same time....madness
1900 equals on average 3 away games and cup games home and away a season over the last 5 seasons

So we have to catch up.....on something we were already in the same group for, ie. Over 6000 points.
Yes, but the point is now that it is possible to catch up rather than an ever increasing target.
