Re: Seen in the Car Park outside Fan Zone
We were stood on the corner outside the Park View about 4.45 waiting for our taxi when the blue Lambo drove past (exhaust sounded a bit dodgy)
A few of the players including Jack Cork (with JBG), Al-Dakeel, Brownhill came past in their respective cars and stopped for a few minutes and wound down their windows to let some young kids take selfies with them which I thought was a nice touch.

There is a Lamborgini fan in the area that has one of those and an Aventador I think - just not that colour, I must admit driving the Adventador around the rounds near his home is not something i would choose to do - the SUV is much more appropriate

With the current state of the roads around Burnley, it's certainly no surprise that our players have gone for Lamborghini SUVs over the supercars driven by Chris Eagles et al in times past.

Not helped by the whoppers driving SUVs everywhere either.
Turning into bloody America. Ridiculous, dangerous cars.

Not going to change with the likes of Ford and Volvo now only making SUVs too.CoolClaret wrote: βTue Aug 29, 2023 12:09 pmNot helped by the whoppers driving SUVs everywhere either.

The difference in road surface quality between Lancashire and North Yorkshire is palpable the moment you cross the border - Lancashire is a real mess at the moment

Re: Seen in the Car Park outside Fan Zone
I've just moved up to Burnley from Bristol and when some of my family moved up here in 2016, it was noticeably worse here than in Bristol. However, by the time i moved (December 2022), the gap in quality had narrowed significantly.Chester Perry wrote: βTue Aug 29, 2023 12:11 pmThe difference in road surface quality between Lancashire and North Yorkshire is palpable the moment you cross the border - Lancashire is a real mess at the moment
That said, the fact i reported the literal moat of a "pot hole" across 3 lanes of the Barracks roundabout to the council and they responded stating that their "engineer" had "assessed" this and stated no maintenance was required tells me all i need to know about cause of the problem.

Must be the angle, but the lambo in the photo looks tiny compared the Range Rover next to it
Re: Seen in the Car Park outside Fan Zone
Funnily enough the Lambo looked lower than normal (probably got lowered suspenders )claret2018 wrote: βTue Aug 29, 2023 5:49 pmMust be the angle, but the lambo in the photo looks tiny compared the Range Rover next to it

A Lambo in suspenders, BC's favourite sexual fantasy.

Yorkshire is just as bad. Iβve had 3 suspension coils repaired this year.Chester Perry wrote: βTue Aug 29, 2023 12:11 pmThe difference in road surface quality between Lancashire and North Yorkshire is palpable the moment you cross the border - Lancashire is a real mess at the moment

Pretty much exactly what I'd expect to find where the employees are young lads with too much money, who have to be seen to be running with the 'in' crowd.
