From the sounds of the fans at the ground Ramsey and Larson have played well.

With everyone else being a bit mediocre

Phil Bird says we’ve been linked with United defender Alvaro Ferdinand. Is he related to Rio..?
It’s Alvaro Fernandez and he’s been linked on here for a couple of weeks.

Back to Bakayoko. He’s a player. Chalk on heels when he can but not afraid to make runs into box, gets back to defend, superb crosses. My one doubt was he only used his left foot but in added time he chipped a beauty across with his right and followed that up with a rasping drive past the far post.
Only down side is PSV 1 up which could mean he’s not going anywhere or, my bigger fear, Salah goes to Saudi and Liverpool come in for him.

Damn. Ekdal, Vitinho and Beyer all out. Stacking the squad up with centre halves looks to have been a sound move now. We're probably gonna need another before the window closes now. Light the Taylor Harwood-Bellis bat signal.
