Al - Dakhil absolute dogshit at RB. And every player to a man is constantly giving the ball away. So frustrating to watch.

Again there are some real positives from the game so far but the concerning element for me is our defence.

We look so vulnerable

Why oh why are we playing a right back at left back I'm sorry Vincent but if Taylor is injured fair enough but if not that's 3 games we are opened up on that side .

We need to try to get Foster more involved as he is running them ragged when he gets it.

We are committing defensive suicide. Totally unbalanced at the back with no cover from midfield. Get Roberts back to right back, get Aldakil at centre back, OShea is poor. I said after the first two games OShea doesn’t look right in our back four.. someone said give him more training time ...this is the PL we don’t have time. It needs sorting quickly.

3 times this half Trafford has played the ball out to Cullen, 25yds out middle of field, with a man covering him. It was shite last season and it’s even worse this season. His only options are back to Trafford or to either FB who then have no options but launch it because the press is on. There is zero benefit and far too much danger. Stop it.

Over 100 million spent and Roberts having to play left back is an utter joke
He has done okay really. One sloppy pass, but otherwise been an outlet for Trafford every time.

Beyer has done well too IMO.

Brownhill out warming up alone. Possible early change?

How has Sarr not been booked and the goal chalked off for that foul.
That's true. You watch the replay and he deliberately keeps his leg up to trip Amdouni. Clear foul. He did it discretely enough for the refs to miss it.

Premier League players are all masters of the dark arts. We need to match them.

That's the difference between the PL and Championship.
Better forwards exposing us.

Huge gulf.

Brownhill gives us some bight in midfield. He will win the ball and he gets forward into shooting positions.

Every time they break they look dangerous. I’m just not sure what it is but I’m concerned they are gonna get 2-3 more in the second half as we push forward to get a goal
Yes, it's not so much conceding clear cut chances, it's how vulnerable we look and how quickly it happens. Opposition finding it too easy to work an opening to get to the bye line and pull it back into the box. Whether that results into a clear cut chance every time doesn't matter cos it will happen enough times for us to concede two or three a.game if it's not resolved.

I don’t know if it’s our defenders or a lack of protection from our midfielders but as a defensive unit we look vulnerable.

Sure Spurs are a good side so that will make it look worse but I think the issues would still be there against anyone.

Spent 100 mio and have to play CB’s as full back, can’t explain that. Also haven’t seen anything that justifies the nr 1 spot for Trafford above Muric. The first goal was quite soft. Berge also not doing better than Brownhill. Very disappointing start of the season so far.

And you’re not telling me Roberts is a better option than Taylor at LB. We are bobbins at the back. We don’t even look like keeping a clean sheet, in any game this season.

Roberts is no lb and AD is never a rb. Get AD and Beyer central. Roberts to rb where he is excellent and Taylor to lb. Oh wait a minute.
If we don’t change this could get ugly in second. Great first 15 mins when Spurs were asleep. Trafford caught in no man’s land for first goal

The defence is utterly exposed by our ridiculously high line we are playing.

Think Muric would help as he is better at sweeping up the through balls than Trafford and has a lot better distribution.

Berge is the least of our problems at the moment imo. Cullen looks just as bad.

Just hope we come out 2nd half like we did against Villa and then slug it out for a point which is what I would take at this moment in time.

Al Dakhil has been very poor. We look all over the place without the ball. They have so much space when they move the ball forward. We are clearly a work in progess. We do look threatening in their final 3rd though. That late goal was a real kick in the balls

We do look like relegation fodder at present.

You just can’t defend the way we’re doing against Premier League teams.
