Adidas Burnley
Just came across these on ebay, can anyone remember seeing these in the 1970's ?
Were they specially made/burnley printed on the side or was their a 'Burnley' collection for the public to buy.

They’re horrible, probably looked a decent football boot 50 years ago though

Re: Adidas Burnley
If they had 2 stripes and said Gola instead of Adidas 100% of people would think they were awful.
Because they have 3 stripes and say Adidas instead of Gola this is reduced to 99% of people thinking they are awful. They look like something you would see tied together with their laces in a reduced to clear basket at the entrance to a Tommy Balls or Winfields

Re: Adidas Burnley
The fact they still look pristine shows how different things were when quality came before quantity. Being a 1950's born lad I think they are great!
Re: Adidas Burnley
People also tended to look after what they had a bit better, it was less of a throw away society.
