Burnley with 2 beautiful moves. Great ball from Guddy, nice shot from Andoumi. (sp?)

His passing out puts us under immediate pressure!
Have to admit I don't think it's a coincidence our CBs struggle to build from the back more. Yes it's a tougher league but still. It's the reverse THB problem- Bellis's positioning when showing for the ball sometimes put Muric's playing out from the back under pressure and pulled him or Cullen out of position. In this case, the problem's coming the other way. That said don't think it's our biggest problem right now.

We're getting more into the game but still think we need a couple changes at HT:
Berge for Gudmundsson or Brownhill, 3 midfielders in the centre, Cullen the deepest.
Benson or Tresor for either Amdouni or Koleosho. Play the classic Salah-Firminio-Mane Liverpool system, deep forward in the middle, two wide forwards as the main goal threats, either Tresor or Amdouni in the central role, Benson or Amdouni and Foster as the wide strikers.

There's no point playing Amdourni if we can't get/keep the ball . Probably better with Berge or Ramsey playing alongside Brownhill and Cullen.

Nicely shielded by Beyer.

No need to rush the throw. Set up routines properly.

Definitely looking better now. All the smoke blown up forest by the sky sports commentators and soon they will have to say we’ve been the better team in the last 5-10 minutes

Yep. I'm not expecting us to get much joy from them this year. Again, we go from attacking set-piece to defending for our lives. Similar story every game this season.

Tials of an inexperienced side.

Brownhill should be nowhere near a dead ball anywhere on the pitch.

He must do some special things in training but it’s never materialised during a game.

Like him tho…. Just not taking free kicks. 🤣🤣
