Koleosho
Playing well on the left wing then changed to the right wing when Gudmundsson was subbed. He had them on toast down the left flank then we swapped to the other side.. On the right he kept cutting inside and running into dead ends whilst Tresor looked a bit lost. Strange decision by VK

Had dalot on toast and drew a booking

Re: Koleosho
Couldn’t work that out either to be honest, why did he change that?

Started like a house on fire. Gonna be some player when he gets a final ball on a regular basis.
Should out for Larsen too, he looks quality.

Re: Koleosho
An error. Vinny is an over thinker as I have said before. But will be a top manager.
Tresor is getting up to speed, plays on the left normally but has the class to play elsewhere. Koleosho is young and doesn't have the experience to adapt roles. He needed to stay on the left and run at Dalot.

Re: Koleosho
Koleosho has been fantastic so far but I do think now maybe the time to see his impact from the bench, that pace against full backs after 70 minutes

Re: Koleosho
He had Dalot in trouble.
Then was switched to the right where Reguillon had him in his pocket by getting really tight to him and stopping him turning.
He's raw and his speed will be effective against certain teams but he'll have other days like the second half today where its just not going to happen for him.

Re: Koleosho
The JBG sub was odd
He didn’t look to be injured and if it was a tactical change, then that was an odd move as the balance of him on the right and Koleosho on the left was working well.
As said, switching Koleosho to the right when Tresor came onto the left reduced our threat

Re: Koleosho
he was injured, they mentioned it on the TV that they strapped ice to his calf on the bench (I think it was calf, not 100% sure on that part)wilks_bfc wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 12:34 amThe JBG sub was odd

Re: Koleosho
JBG waved his hand when they were going to pass to him, as if saying not to.
Re: Koleosho
What a pity.

Is Larsen on loan to us?Granny WeatherWax wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 11:47 pmStarted like a house on fire. Gonna be some player when he gets a final ball on a regular basis.

Re: Koleosho
Whilst early in the match, the moving of Koleosho to the right had a great bearing on the game from our attacking stance

Re: Koleosho
The whole balance of the game changed when JBG went off. Coupled with the odd sub and we were on the back foot

Re: Koleosho
Tresor was our worst player when he came on. Lacked energy and intensity and for someone with so many assists he played the wrong pass at the wrong speed. Hopefully this is a one off. Larsen instead (based on last night) would have been a totally different option.SalisburyClaret wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 7:37 amThe whole balance of the game changed when JBG went off. Re: Koleosho
If still like to see Benson and Zaroury getting match time but I’m not sure we can play with 6 wingers
Re: Koleosho
I think your mistaking lack of energy for being a relaxed dude ,this guy has real quality and I reckon he’s going to be excellent for us.andyh wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 8:04 amTresor was our worst player when he came on. Re: Koleosho
What worries me is that we have far too many wingers, and not enough strikers. But I guess we knew that already.
Genuinely forgot we had Redmond last night, and one of our best players from last season Zaroury is just twiddling his thumbs.
But a suspension to foster and we have zero premier league quality backup strikers available

Nobody sat in the stand around us spotted that and as he seemed to leaving the pitch “normally” (ie not limping/holding leg) assumed it was tactical

Re: Koleosho
Brunn Larsen looks to me as someone who could play as a number 9, has pace and technique but looks to be strong also
