I wouldn't call it a turning point just yet. What it clearly shows is we can get results away from home against teams we expect to be in the bottom 6. That is what most have been banking on after a very tough early fixture list and the lads didn't let us down tonight.
The turning point for me will come when we start picking up points regularly against sides above the bottom 6.

We've picked up 4 pts (should have been 6) against two teams in our 'mini-league'.

Away from home...

Usually on a journey, you’ve to turn a few corners.

We’ve turned the first one tonight. When the pressure built we looked like a young team that needed a win.

Now we’ve turned that first corner, we will start to turn a few more.

Up the Clarets!

I only caught the last 10 minutes, and from what I saw and from what I've read on here, it wasn't a pretty three points - but a win is a win.

We're not going to places like Luton and dominate. They will throw everything at us; it will be scrappy - but in the end, these are the games we need to win.

What's clear is that there's a project underway. VK is persevering with young players like Ramsey, Koleosho and Trafford etc… although I don't think they are ready to step up at this stage - he is showing his belief in them.

If we stay up with this young squad, we’ll have a great team after 30+ PL apps under their belt.

Just watched the Sky highlights. Love that Foster one. Hope we get that booming around the turf!

What're people actually singing? Not the original lyrics surely?

Yeah, I wondered if those lines were being sung or if new ones had been made.

I looked up the translation yesterday out of interest. Apparently it roughly translates to:

Come (do it), eh eh,
Lyle Foster, eh eh,
Where do you come from
He's from South Africa

A great song :D

In his interview, Jacob said that it was the first time he has had a song. What is it?
