Newcastle v PSG
Be some atmosphere at St James tonight, probably the best atmosphere in England is Newcastle when they are on it.
Who would of thought 2 years ago Newcastle would be playing PSG in the Champions League, madness.
Eddies doing a terrific job up there but the harsh reality is sooner or later he will get potted for a big name.
Let’s see how Tripper does against MBappe, I’ll deffo be having some money on a Trippier yellow card.
Anyway good luck to them, always support English teams in Europe except the ones who lose to Trelleborgs

Did Pope just play a deliberate pass & found a Newcastle player whilst under pressure?

Newcastle have been excellent.
Re: Newcastle v PSG
It’s an accidental handball. Literally headed it into his own hand! Accidental handballs don’t get given unless it’s the goalscorer.

I thought it was something to do with gaining an advantage from it… which I’d argue they did.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 8:45 pmdoesn't lead directly to a goal, was never going to be given

Re: Newcastle v PSG
PSG are nothing special this year. This doesn't mean I think we should be competing with the likes of Newcastle.

I think Pope has kicked 4 dead balls out of play in a row, that's diabolical at this level !!!

Mbappe couldn’t be bothered tonight.
Pleased for Pope and Trippier.
Gordon’s dying swan act in his own box was worthy of an academy award.

The way he jumped at Mbappe at the end head first and won the free kick was ridiculous.Hibsclaret wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 10:20 pmMbappe couldn’t be bothered tonight.
