Any recommendations for a curry in York City Centre on a Thursday or Friday evening would be greatly appreciated.

My Daughter attends the University of York and we visit her every two week's, we always have a meal at Bombay Spice, I can't recommend this place highly enough, you won't be disappointed.

The Mrs and I are frequent visitors to York, and always have a curry at the Bengal Brasserie. It’s near the minster.it’s a family business and the food has always been first class, and the staff always polite and attentive.

Another recommendation for the Bengal Brasserie here. A group of about 10 of us went after a day out in York last year and the food, service and ambience was absolutely top notch.

Once you have had the curry, if you want a superb Italian dining experience the following evening visit Delrios.
They are usually booked up days in advance but may have a cancellation.
