Horrible flashbacks again to all those away games under Coyle where we were turned over in the top flight.

I don’t think we need to worry about Aston Villa calling in their buy back clause for Ramsey.

The premier league just makes my weekend a bit less good. We've built a squad of talent but there's not a lot of reliance, smarts or experience. This project is a longer term one, I just hope it gets seen out. In the meantime, gonna be a long season I think unfortunately. Just got to stay patient

Not gonna lie, I've tried to defend Trafford, and honestly there's not much he could have really done differently in this game, but we're badly missing Muric's passing. Trafford just lumps it downfield to absolutely no-one, Muric would scythe through teams on a regular basis with his long balls. We need that more than ever now.
I'm in the Muric camp but Trafford did play a lovely neat chip to the wing first half. His positioning could've been better for the 4th but can't be blamed for the others. I think his problem understandably is confidence. When you're bleeding goals for fun against top half sides the keeper's going to be nervous whenever he has the ball and whenever the opposition attack.

Berge and Ramsey in the middle of the park just doesn’t work, Berge far to casual, Ramsey lacking experience. Shows how important Cullen is.

Haha.

Certainly not from what I've seen so far. I'm sure he's got lots of potential. We need him nursed through instead of in the middle of a joblot of youngsters.

if they grow together, I can take the ups and downs of developing exciting youngsters. It beats watching the final season under SD.

So my football knowledge is poor when I'm pointing out how hard our home fixtures have been?

Which ones would you say we're highly "winnable" then for a newly promoted team?

I know it was the Championship but our last season's team had much more balance, every player knew his role, our passing game was a joy to watch. This team seems so disorganised, lacking basic footballing common sense, just so lacking in physicality. It's also clear that the management team does not know it's best eleven: we can still stay up but we need to change things quickly.

We have taken 4 points (should have been 6) from two away games against teams expected to be in the mix with us. If we can keep that up against the others we will be fine.

Basically this. It’s such a bizarre start with the fixtures. It’s hard to work out where we are at. What’s clear is we can’t compete over 90 minutes yet vs top 10 sides.

Honestly, don't bother. He's as weak willed as any on here. Just turns up to moan. Throws his tantrum. Nothing constructive to add. Virtually no football knowledge. Probably never played after he left school.

I suspect that's his life to a tee.

We have a lot of young players who could fit into an established side but as a group on their own they are always going to struggle.

Could be worse having seen that Brentford have conceded two in the last four minutes of added time. At least we know where we stand towards the end of a game.

Nailed it. Exactly this.

Either they grow or we buy the man in midfield that we were craving along with a more attacking LB.

People's inability to look at what threads have already been started before starting a new one goes through the roof when we lose a game.

Yeah it's the same every time. People get in a rage and hit the "New thread" button when their point would usually just be a continuation of an existing discussion.

As much people are calling out individual players I actually VK has struggled more than any player.

His decisions are baffling at times.

Really not sure he’s as good as we thought.

Nobody can be the genius that we decided to anoint him as. I'm happy with him, though. He'll get things wrong. If we don't win, which will be most matches this year, he will be criticised rather than praised. Everyone will second guess him. He'll have his reasons.
