Newcastle miss pen just before half time. It is a scrappy game but Burnley have been the more dominant team, from when I started watching, and played some nice stuff at times.

Newcastle came out strong second half but we have played our way back in. Had a couple of good chances but missed the target. Newcastle seem to have one out ball, to their right winger, and we still aren't closing her down.

0-0 final score. Good away point with the way Newcastle have been going and the pitch didn't look the best.

The two best teams in the division, an excellent point away from home. Keeps us top of the league, though Newcastle could still go above us if they win their games in hand.

It’s artificial turf at Kingston park, Newcastle Falcons home ground.

First points that Newcastle have dropped this season. A good result for us.

How many promotions are required to get into the WSL?

2 I think

North & south winners play off for promotion to championship, then another to WSL

Just looked this up and found out that they’ve abandoned the play-off now; both the North and South champions are promoted.

Still incredibly hard though - some big teams in Forest, Wolves and Newcastle to try and stay ahead of. We’ve drawn to two of those now and picked up wins in the other game.

Pretty sure that Southampton won the Southern league a couple of years back and are currently Championship leaders so perhaps possible to be competitive in that league once promoted.

How come Newcastle have 3 games in hand? Seems to have been the case for a while.
