Interestingly both City and Newcastle lose none. Rich enough not to sign African eligible players to avoid this?

Cornet will be a big loss to West Ham. He came on as an 89th minute sub on the opening day of the season and hasn’t featured in the Premier League since.

I’m sure there will be many more on that list similar to him too.

Some big players missing from clubs that will be around us if we can get Obafemi fit for when Foster goes then we need to be taking full advantage

Cornet's had a pretty odd career in England, hasn't he? Was either amazing or AWOL for us. Started twice in the PL last season, subbed on 12 times and nothing this season as Tony stated. Injuries and also, I'm told by a WH fan (yes, well it's part of my contribution to uniting the UK society) he wasn't a Moyes signing.

Cornet scored a very good goal last year for WHU which was incorrectly disallowed, it would have been such a confidence builder!

That's not so bad for us, Sheff United, assuming those players are regulars, won't have it easy.

If Obafemi is the answer then we are doomed.

He barely looked good enough last season in the championship. Did he even start a game for us ?

Unless Amdouni can play the role (does not look to me like he can) then think we will go into the market again for a striker as would be a massive risk to rely on Jay and Obafemi.

Foster will be a huge loss for us. What games is he likely to miss ?

I remain to be convinced that Obafemi was an answer to whatever our question was, at the point that we signed him.

The one thing that I woukd say is that Foster looked way off it last season, in the same league.

He did I agree. I think Foster really benefited from a proper pre season and it’s also difficult for some to settle into a new country / new team especially half way through a season when rest of the team is flying.
Obafemi was not pulling up any trees at Swansea and from the bits I saw in a Burnley shirt it was hard to see what he brings. For me he also looked to have too much muscle and the one thing I thought he might have - pace…..I never saw. At Southampton when he was coming through I cannot remember him having that kind of build and I also remember him being quick.
With what seems like a pretty serious injury i just can’t see him coming back into the team in January - as said he couldn’t get in our team last season without the injury.

Didn't we all day the same about Foster?
Obafemi impressed me in his cameos when he played central, powerful and quick maybe he'll be as impressive as Foster in this league

I am of the opinion that Obafemi will be brilliant for us!

Cant wait to see him up and running.

No I think you are getting it confused with the clock change thing.

Didn't Roger Milla win it 27 times in 6 years though?

I never criticised Foster at all last season. There were many fans who appreciated the situation he had come into and how hard it is to hit the ground running.
Hope Obafemi comes good but I never understood the signing in the first place other than maybe as a bit of insurance if we were really unlucky with injuries.
It was telling with Obafemi that I don’t think VK ever started him and he often brought on other subs before him.
Guess we’ll see but personally I doubt he’ll get much of a look in when he returns from injury.
