Long way to go yet but it’s worrying that the manager is still being so naive.

Relax. Vincent has more than enough credit in the bank after last season.
What good is credit when we’re getting worse by the game?

Still happy with heavily leveraging the club on a bunch of unproven talent?

Too light weight, too naive, no PL experience, and worryingly no leaders on the pitch. I fear for the worst this season.

Joked about it last game, get Muric on in midfield. Make the game worth watching for a spell at least

That might as well have been a penalty that goal….no defenders anywhere near their players.
Brentford took the **** there.
Good finish tho.

No, this is an embarrassment.

Gutted how this is turning out but it was obvious weeks ago and nothing is changing.

Abysmal.
There's literally no way it can get worse reverting to as much of last season's lineup as possible. We're losing without fight anyway.
This is far worse than 09/10, we got thumped away but were solid at home until December and had more points on the board by now.
Tresor doesn't look like anything. 24 assists but can't pick a pass, cross or set piece. How is he still on the pitch while Larsen who looks impactful in his minutes isn't, and Zaroury ran the cup game against admittedly weak opposition (but they kept Jay quiet so...)

We're just nowhere near as good as Brentford.
Man for man they're mostly technically better players, and they have a manager who is a very astute tactician.
It's going to be a very long and difficult season.

Big thing to come out of today is that Kompany can be under no illusions that it’s time for wholesale changes. There is no excuse for him if the team at Bournemouth looks similar to this - barely any of them should start.

3 years. 4? However long he wants.
Don't forget Pace originally said he wanted Dyche to stay for 25 years
He then reduced that to 10
He then potted him after a performance somewhat similar to today's

This summer’s recruitment, and the utterly cringey words Pace said when talking about Kompany like his lover, is starting to look very naive. The club has no experience at this level, from top to bottom.

Prepared to be pilloried but I do start to question the use of an analytics company owned by the manager to make signings. It just seems a very odd arrangement.

We’re nowhere near good enough for this league but this team would win the Championship at a canter. The gap between the two levels has grown embarrassingly big.

Simply don't have the players good enough to play the way he wants at this level. Recruitment was an absolute shambles. Relegation fodder.

I'm sorry to say it's not looking good, Vincent said we would improve and not play bad as we did against City this is awful especially the first half because Brentford should have been out of sight, 12 chances for a team that as not won at home until today.
