I’m not even going to list them

Every player- 3

This is not a knee jerk reaction because that performance must be one of the worst in at least the last half dozen years or even longer.
I hope everyone of those players are as embarrassed as I am as a Burnley fan.
Total total shambles and for me the season is over already unfortunately.

I'm tired of writing the same thing every week. Overall not good enough in any area of the pitch. We leak goals and don't create nearly enough chances to compensate that. Team selection and overall system is simply not working.

I think I actually have to give a MOTM award to Trafford (4) although I'm far from pleased and think he should be dropped next week, but at least he completed some of the duties he had. Some terrific saves but as I've said too many times - too slow on the ball, not accurate enough and overall far from convincing.

Every other player 3. Not good enough.

Kompany 2. You can not repeat the same mistakes every single week.

Trafford 6 - Poor distribution and stuttered on the ball often allowing Brentford time to close him down, some good saves kept it respectable though (for a bit)

Roberts 3 - Really struggling in this league and a stupid decision for the second yellow. We really needed him at Bournemouth.

O’Shea 3 - Gives far too much space, slow, puts himself under pressure by heading the ball up rather than away. He’s looking an absolute bomb scare of a centre back and for all the talk about Trafford, Tresor and so on, £7m for him is looking horrendous business IMO.

AAD 3 - Struggled all game, looks lacking any confidence whatsoever and made an embarrassing error to let Maupay in one v one which he somehow missed.

Taylor 5 - Best of a bad bunch in defence but on the one occasion he offered anything going forward he crossed the ball like Chris Vinnicombe.

Cullen 4 - Struggled all game in this formation, felt sorry for him.

Berge 3 - So poor. Didn’t track runners or have the turning circle to get back at them. Barely moved with the ball.

Odobert 3 - Offered nothing.

Tresor 3 - As above, early days but you expect far more for a player that we are apparently obligated to buy for £18m next summer. A Belgian international no less. Terrible set pieces.

Amdouni 4 - Tries to be progressive and turn with the ball to drive forwards but he’s far too in and out, makes bad decisions and offers nothing defensively to say he’s playing just ahead of the midfield. A curates egg and needs to be sacrificed from the starting line up, he’s the absolute antithesis of a player you want in a relegation battle (sadly, a lot of them are).

Foster 6 - Ran willingly and tried his hardest as ever.

Subs:

Koleosho 5 - Started well but faded as our hopes did

Rest N/A

Berge 4 - one of the worst of an awful bunch
Amdouni 4 - did nothing
Odobert 4 - did nothing
Tresor 3 - what a joke this guy was. That pass out at the end??
Foster 4 - did nothing

Koleosho 4 - lively but awful, awful miss.

Trafford 6
Roberts 3 - a complete horror show.
Taylor 5
Al Dakhil 3
O’Shea 4
Cullen 5 - +1 because it was like he was playing in a one man midfield at times.
Berge 3 - just inexcusable to keep picking him in this role. Should have been hooked after 20 mins.
Tresor 3
Odobert 3
Amdouni 4
Foster 7* - the only one who put in a shift. Fed on less than scraps but still caused their defence problems with the few opportunities he got. Our one and only bright spark right now.

Koleosho 4

Trafford 4 - might have made some saves but also contributed to a poor defensive display with his hesitation and distribution.

Roberts 4 - stupid 1st booking which came back to bite him on the arse. Can now see why we were linked with so many right backs this summer - he’s not up to it at this level.

Al Dakhil 4 - Really poor decision making and not showing enough leadership. Should have really been on the bench this season rather than (worryingly) bring our current first choice centre half.

O’Shea 3 - a complete car crash of a centre half. Still trying to work out what his best attributes are. Not up to it at this level.

Taylor 4 - doesn’t seem to be showing the fight and spirit like previously. I suppose that’s what you get when you the manager makes it pretty obvious he doesn’t really want to play him but has no choice.

Cullen 4 - sadly, doesn’t look like he manage the step up to this level. Brentford ran through the middle of the pitch at will most of the game.

Berge 4 - he is definitely NOT a deeper lying midfielder. Painful to watch how slow he was today. Brentford were all over him.

Amdouni 4 - lovely footballer but we look so open with him in the team. Offers zilch when we don’t have the ball.

Odobert 3 - offered absolutely nothing all half until hooked. Not quite sure how he gets in before Zaroury/JBL.

Tresor 3 - voiced my concerns after the Salford game and was told in no uncertain terms on this board that he will come good if we give him time. Well, VK is certainly giving him opportunities and has yet to even beat a man. Poor set piece deliveries, lack of urgency/desire. Much rather see Redmond play for his experience/ability.

Foster 6 - did what he could. Ran hard. Created chances by picking the right passes. Comfortably MOM again.

Koleosho 3 - got his full back booked within a minute of coming on….then went missing for the next 44 mins + 7 mins stoppage time. How on earth did he miss the chance to make it 2-1 with 15 minutes to go? It might have been a game-changer.

Brownhill 4 - the game passed him by and Brentford continued to just run through our midfield.

Not enough fight. A soft underbelly.
Not enough leaders.
Not enough experience.
Not enough of last season’s players in the team - too much change.
Too much tinkering.
A poor transfer window which didn’t address the main areas of concern for the team NOW.

We only have to be the 4th worst team this season so still have a good shout at staying up but you can’t concede 23 goals in 9 matches and expect a better return than have accrued.

Trafford 6 - Four fine saves but shaky playing out from the back
Roberts 3 - (-1) for stupid sending off
Al-Dakhil 4 - has lost his confidence
O’Shea 6 - pick of the defense today but just average overall
Taylor 5 - decent defense, nothing in an attacking sense
Cullen 4 - three heel taps to get his booking about sums his game up
Berge 3 - think he’s lazy, and not up for this fight
Trésor 3 - the three behind Foster were awful
Amdouni 3 -ditto
Odobert 3- ditto
Foster 7 MoM - worked hard with little support

Credit to Brentford, they were physical, well drilled and had some quality. Basically, the complete opposite of us.

Trafford - 7 some good saves, put under far too much pressure with the ball at his feet.

Roberts - 3 contributed to so much of the hesitancy by not offering Al-Dakhil an out ball

Al Dakhil - 3 despite his teammates not helping, had a shocker

O'Shea - 4 marginally better

Taylor - 5 need more experience like him. Not his best day but kept working.

Cullen - 5 largely bullied out of it.

Berge - 4 mistake for their first and just not at it.

Odobert - 3 not in it at all

Tresor - 4 not switched on, didn't look interested and didn't show much quality.

Amdouni - 6 some nice touches but need more

Foster - 6 put one on a plate for Koleosho and battled hard.

Koleosho - 5 had to score that

Lacking in physicality, leadership and identity. Concerning how Brentford were so much better in every area.

Trafford 6 great made for TV shot stopper but poor with the basics. Panics and either kicks it forward aimlessly,to a marked player or out. At fault for first really hesitated going down.
Roberts 3 idiot.
Al-Dakhil 3 weak
O’Shea 5 showed a tiny bit of aggression.
Taylor 6 my mom tried, did the basics OK.
Cullen 3 like a dwarf at the bar just overlooked and pushed past.
Berge 4 a nice pass and errm that was it.
Trésor 3 because you can't give less. Have we signed his doppelganger because he ain't a footballer.
Amdouni 4
Odobert 3 pointless
Foster 6 tried his heart out, got the garbage service our forwards got under Dyche's last games.

Koleosho 4
Brownhill 5
Kompany -1 he needs to stop experimenting and get back to basics.

Trafford - 4 - his saves were what should come as expected from a PL keeper, puts us in too much danger with hesitancy/nervousness on the ball.
Roberts - 3 - 2 silly bookings, would have scored a 4 but for the red card
AlDak - 3 - so out of his depth atm, needs a break but won't get one til Beyer and Ekdal both back
O'shea - 3 - West Brom must be rubbing their hands together and laughing all the way to the bank
Taylor - 4 - Tried his best but when the others round him dont help, got left isolated and with no options
Cullen - 4 - again, tried his best but so many times have seen him over run in midfield, first few games I put it down to level of opposition, today was pure tactical naivity
Berge - 3 - seriously needs to book his ideas up, turns like a bus, weak as pi$$, useless as a CDM
Odobert - 3 - didnt really get a break of the ball but when he got it, didnt do much
Amdouni - 4 - likes his silky little touches and draws a few fouls, but thats it, luxury player that we cant accomodate atm
Tresor - 3 - the Belgian league must not defend corners or any ball into the box for that matter, dont think he found a Burnley shirt all game
Foster - 6 - MOM - ran his socks off, tried holding it up, put it on a plate for Koleosho, deserved something for his efforts

Koleosho - 5 - great first 5 mins, then faded, similar to United game, gets his marker booked then does nothing after it

Kompany - 3 - he has to own that as his fault, none of the 'we showed glimpses etc' we were crap, all over the pitch, tactically, heart, desire, decision making, everything was off today. Same again next week at Bournemouth and I struggle to see anything other than propping up the table for the remainder of the season.

Trafford 4 decent saves but poor distrib and invited pressure
Roberts 3 poor alround from CR , outclassed
Al-dak- too weak and a bit naive
O’Shea 6 one of our few bright sparks and up for it .
Taylor 4 ok just about but outpaced
Cullen 4 brushed aside far too easily ,champ player tbh
Berge 4 invisible and a poor signing ( imo £
Amdouni 5 nice touch’s but not much else
Tresor 4 looks miles off
Odobert 3 not his day invisibile, hooked
Foster 6- strong when given a chance

Koleosho 4 awful awful miss

Trafford 5 - More to keeping than shot stopping, glued to his line far to often, doesn`t command his area and this defence badly needs the pressure taking off it
Roberts 3 Never been good enough at this level but a stupid red doesn`t help the cause
Al-Dakhil 3 Like a rabbit in the headlights, poor without the ball poor in possession of it
O'Shea 3 A bad bad buy
Taylor 4 Again one of a couple that looked like they cared about the result, not his best game though
Trésor 3 Would give him less if I could, baffled by VK`s continuous selection of him
Berg 3 seen milk turn quicker, slow, weak in possession but we know he is better than this
Cullen 3 minimal contribution, needs to have more of a presence
Amdouni 4 At least tried to make things happen but just made some wrong decisions
Odobert 3 Zero contribution- end of
Foster 6 ( MoM) Never stopped making the runs, tried to close down whilst those around rested on their laurels

Koleosho 4 Gave us a bit of hope but what a frickin miss
Brownhill 5 Don`t think he`s really up to this level of football but he`s the best/effective option we have in that position

I can`t believe VK and Co could watch this and not be embarrassed, Slow, predictable, disorganised crap, we having been saying since the first couple of games we move the ball to slowly and even the commentators on the channel I was watching were saying the same, how does VK not see this and do it in training, really needs to get a system that suits the players and decide on a more settled starting 11, what your doing isn`t working Vinny in case you hadn`t noticed. Also what was with taking Larsen off just after he brought him on, I know we had gone down to ten but there were others who could have been sacrificed, seemed to pee off one of the few players a lot would like to see start.

Trafford 5 please give the kid a break, he's nowhere near ready for this
Roberts 3 our best rb, says a lot about our summer recruitment madness
Al Dakhil 3 so, so lost. Not even close to ready for the step up.
O’Shea 3 why?? £7m??? He is nothing
Taylor 4 meh
Cullen 5 poor guy must cry himself to sleep at night having to play against entire midfields on his tod
Berge 3 weak. Get rid.
Tresor 3 what is he good at??
Amdouni 5 poor guy has probably sacked his agent for bringing him to this schitshow
Odabert 3 utterly anonymous. £10m???
Foster 7 the only bright spark. We spent £100m on garbage.

Redmond 3 nothing. Just pointless
Koleosho 4 (-2 for shocking miss) embarrassing

Trafford : 4…..he was truly awful imho. He nearly handed them 3 goals on a plate, flapped at every cross, and even tried his best to muck up some straightforward saves.
Roberts : 3 - been shocking for the last 5 or 6 games now. His distribution is abysmal.
Al Dakhill : 3 - cannot believe the mistakes he is making. It’s every game. Why the feck does he think he has loads of time on the ball ?
O’Shea : 3 - no pace, not that big, can’t tackle. Other than that i’m sure he’ll make a great defender one day !
Taylor : 5 - best of our defenders…..says it all.

Cullen : 4 - feel for him as he’s finding it tough. But at least he’s not hiding.
Berge : 3 - when he plays the deeper role he’s been poor. So why do we play him there when he’s much better further forward ?
Tresor : 4 - not a worst player….but still poor.
Odabert : 3 - Zaroury must be scratching his head
Amdouni : 3 - made Collins look like Baresi.

Foster : 7 - yet again the only player who did well for us.

Kolesho : 4 - horrific miss and usual no end product after showing decent pace. Again this must be messing with zaroury’s head.
Redmond : 5 - actually did ok.

We should have been beaten by 7 or 8 today. Carry on playing like that and picking that same team and it won’t be long before we get a real thumping.

Trafford 7* - Seems to be the focus of a lot of blame but other than him not coming for crosses he's a decent young keeper. He can't be blamed for a lot of the goals because the players in front allow a free shot on goal and he doesn't stand a chance. Also he couldn't pass out when he had 0 options in front.
Roberts 3- He's been carded 3 times this season already for time wasting. Paid the price today. We were a goal down when he got his first card as well. Just a complete lack of discipline.
Al Dakhil 4
O'Shea 4
Taylor 5
Cullen 4 He's absolutely pointless when we don't have possession of the ball. Today he got turned and he really looked exasperated lost his discipline and flaired his arms to Kompany.
Berge 4
Zeki 6
Oderbaart 4
Tressor 3 - Deserved less. One of the worst displays I've seen.
Foster 6 - Cut adrift.
Koleosho 6 - Really good option to inject something into the game.
Brownhill 6 - Played a great ball to start a counter

The major issue we face is we have a team built around retaining the ball and for 75% or more of the game we're forced to defend. Defensively we're all over the place. I witnessed a ball go into the box that Trafford claimed but O'Shea panicked and glanced a header to the far post and Brentford nearly scored.

About 20-25 yards from goal our midfield has completely disappeared, just Cullen trying to plug holes everywhere. We NEED both Cullen and Cork to sit against good teams and plug holes together. Dyche was very effective in stopping long shots, he'd get both centre backs covering the posts and everything just went straight down Pope's throat. Those days a long gone.

The issue we face on the ball is when you don't have a Beyer carrying the ball and breaking the lines or a Harwood-Belis pinging 40 yard passes to feet were very negative on the ball from the get go. It invites pressure and forces us back to Trafford.

Right now you see the team sheet and we know whats coming, but we have to keep believing Kompany can turn this around. He's a winner and this will be eating him up inside.

That was a team with its confidence shot to pieces. Two of Brentford’s goals were stunners but don’t let that fool you. 3-0 flattered us. There is so much wrong with our defence, wider team selection, formation, tactics, on field leadership, commitment (I could go on). Can’t think of many more depressing performances since pre-Dyche (if any)

Trafford 5 - several good saves but that is the bare minimum expected. Constantly put the defence under pressure with dithering and poor passing which sets the whole tone
Roberts 4 - at least he put the effort in but v v silly first booking and another sending off the last thing we need
Al-Dakhil 4 - I actually think he is a good player but his confidence is through the floor and it shows
O’Shea 4 - confidence also through the floor but I fear he wouldn’t be good enough even if it wasn’t. Very very limited
Taylor 5 - he worked hard and put in blocks etc but that cross into the crowd in the second half when in space summed it up
Cullen 5 - works hard enough, but was completely overrun in a midfield 2 with berge
Berge 4 - shows glimpses occasionally but gives the ball away far too much and just doesn’t have the engine to do what we seem to be asking him to do
Trésor 3 - no pace, no closing down, gave the ball away more than he found a teammate and his set pieces are shocking. I suspect it is confidence, new country etc but frankly at times felt like playing with 10men.Will be very very angry if I traipse down to Bournemouth and see him on the team sheet
Amdouni 4 - some flashes and maybe in a better team would come good but just disappears
Odobert 3 - classic young player. Shows flashes but naive and disappears. Gives the ball away far too often in dangerous places (which immediately exposes out baffling formation to fast break away).
Foster 6 - fine. the only one who might be a premier league player but working from scraps.

Koleosho 4 - goof 5 minutes where he had the gumption to give it a go (so +1) but then see odobert. And that miss was excruciatingly bad. Could have changed the game and just cannot afford that kind of cock up at this level.
Brownhill 5 - probably should have been on from the start

Trafford 5 some good saves to keep the score down, but a very nervy and unconfident start.

Roberts 3 very poor today even outside this sending off.

Al Dakhil 3 the confident young man of last season has well lost his confidence completely

O'Shea 4 not a Premier League level player for me, shirks challenges but equally a plus for his clearance of the line.

Taylor 4 his poorest performance since his recall, but absolutely zero help from Odobert.

Berge 4 constantly caught in possession

Cullen 5 was asked to do for too much in the midfield today, given time was neat and tidy, time is a luxury at this level though.

Odobert 3 anonymous and left Taylor out to dry with his lack of cover.

Tresor 4 flashes of quality, but more flashes of wastelessness with the ball.

Amdouni 5 does some magic on the ball, but can spend large periods on the periphary of the game, offering nothing.

Foster 6 thought first half Lyle did ok, he certainly wasn't at fault for the **** show around him.

Subs.

Koleosho 5 started off well full back quickly booked, but as seem before slowly fizzled out and that chance.

Brownhill 5 chasing a lost cause.

Bruun Larsen 4 couldn't get into the game and was unlucky to be the one to be hooked because of Roberts sending off.

Redmond n/a
Delcroix n/a

I voted Brownhill mom for he had the balls to come over and graciously made a child's day a while lot better by handing over his shirt.

Trafford 7
Roberts 5 stupid yellow in the first half
Al Dakill 5
OShea 5
Taylor 5
Cullen 6
Amdouni 5
Tresor 4
Oderbert 4
Berge 5
Foster 7

Koleosho 6. My 6 year old grandson would have scored

Brunn Larson 5
Redmond 5

I’m struggling to think of a worse performance from us in the Premier League.
O'shea 6??? He is an absolute nightmare. Ok he looks leas awful compared to the childlike Ameen, but come on!! This lot are an embarrassment to Tarks, Mee, Davis et al

Brownhill is a top bloke. Hate some of the crap posted about him - at least he battles every game and doesn’t give up.

Trafford -7 - kept us in it. Unlike some I don’t see him as the problem.

Roberts -3 - he’s not been as bad as Vitinho is the best compliment he can have
AAD - 4 - too casual. Got v lucky first half.
O’Shead - 4 - same comment I’ve made several times now. Should be absolutely nowhere near the first XI
Taylor -6

Cullen - 4 - little boy lost
Berge - 3 responsible for the crucial 1st goal because he’s playing in treacle

Amdouni - 4 - nothing like what was needed. For his price tag I am expecting a ton more.
Odobert - 4 - could have played the 1st half without him and would have been little different
Tresor - 3 - when we signed this guy I was ecstatic given his resume. We’ve seen nothing. Unacceptable performance.

Foster -6 - zero service but can hold his head up high.

Koleosho - 5 - provided a spark but has to score. Has to score.
Brownhill - 5
JBL - 5
Redmond - 5

We deserved nothing out of this. Yet again we see awful defending at the back and dreadful “service” up front. I’m about done with Cullen and Berge as passengers.

Yet again we have no idea what the best starting XI is. I don’t think Vinny knows either.
The sooner we have Ekdal and Beyer at the back we will get some level of solidity.

Disappointing and concerning in equal measure.

Can’t vote as I didn’t see it all, but one brief observation on Tresor’s stats given the really low marks above.

He had as many key passes (2) as any of our players, only 1 less than any Brentford player, had a shot of his own too. His pass success rate was 80% and he made more crosses than any player including Brentfords (maybe dead balls influence that?). He was also playing on his unnatural side.

Just think the new lad needs a bit of support and I sense he doesn’t have much.

My gripe with Tresor is he is a soft arse who shys away from anything physical. Absolutely no defensive qualities and not a player you want in a fight

As you say it doesn’t help that he’s been shifted to the right when, for the past two seasons, he’s played off the left.

Trafford -6 - Some good saves but there was 1 moment in the first half where he let the ball slide under his body which could have easily led to a goal

Roberts -3 - Idiotic yellow card in the first half showing a complete lack of discipline
AAD - 3 - Looks absolutely terrified, completely shot of confidence
O’Shea - 5 - The pick of the central defenders which isn't saying much
Taylor -6 Exposed several times, especially in the first half. It didn't help that he had zero help from Odobert in front of him

Cullen - 4 - Every team we have played have been aware and that our preferred outball from Trafford is to Cullen so he has been pressured to play the ball back either to Roberts or AAD who then play it back to Trafford who often has no option but to launch it aimlessly upfield.
Berge - 4 Worst game from Berge for a while. However him and Cullen cannot compete as a midfield 2 against premier league opposition. Brentford along with Villa a couple of months ago just cut through the centre of midfield with ease exposing our centre halves and keeper.

Amdouni - 4 - I like Amdouni as I think he is quite skilful and takes the game to the opposition by running at opponents. However he offers absolutely nothing in defence when we don't have the ball. This then means that Cullen and Berge are chasing shadows in midfield and opponents are pushing on our terrified defence.
Odobert - 3- Didn't do much going forward but offered no help at all to Taylor.
Tresor - 4 - He has been the biggest disappointment of all the Summer signings. Had a decent 15 minutes at the start of the second half but nothing else apart from that. Similar to Odobert he offered very little protection to Roberts.

Foster -6 - I feel for Foster. He is 1 of the only few who actually looked to be giving everything in the game. Put on a great assist for Koleosho which should have brought it back to 2-1.

Koleosho - 4 - Impetus changed for the first 15-20 minutes of the second half, but I have to take 2 points off him for 1 of the worst misses you will ever see on a football pitch
Brownhill - 5 Please start with a midfield 3 of Cullen, Berge and Brownhill
JBL - 4 Unlucky to be subbed. Didn't do anything wrong but I understand the reasoning.
Redmond - 5 Played quite well in his brief cameo

What a horror show. It's alarming that we appear to be getting worse with each passing game. The players and the manager look lost. Something has to turn in the next couple of games.

Nowhere near good enough.

Trafford 4 stop shots which is his job continued poor distribution invites pressure.
Roberts 3 - petulant yellow then a red and playing like he did first half of last season.
Taylor 3 run ragged
Al Dakhil 3 miles of it again
O’Shea 3 nowhere near this level
Cullen 3 miles of it again
Berge 3 looked lost again can’t tackle.
Tresor 3 not interested
Oddobert 3 annoymous
Amdouni 4 some bright moments but not sure where he currently fits into the team at the moment.
Foster 6 once again the only bright spark.

Redmond 5 looked bright
Larrson 5 as above how is he not starting above some of the current dross
Koleosho 4 usual 5 minute cameo then disappeared until somehow missing an open net.
Brownhill 4

The work and successes of last season is in real danger of becoming undone unless Kompany quickly starts getting back to the personnel and tactics that served us so well. The fact we need the likes of Cork and JBG back in the team tells us a lot about the summer transfer business.

The lack of fight and leadership so far this season is both alarming and amazing to see.

Trafford 7-maybe his best game but still gets the heart going in possession and poor aeriallyong before we concede where ho goes to kick and thats blocked and goes in our goal.
Roberts 5-stupid and carefree in his attitude. Starting to think he is not a PL RB
O Shea 6-maybe one of the better performances. He seems to try hard and does the easy things. Thought he could have done better with their first goal but made up with a goal line clearance
Al Dakhill 5-sadly lacking in confidence and got caught several times in possession
Taylor 6. Got caught a few times but up against a very good PL wing man. His crossing was terrible
Cullen 6-no support at all, and our midfield cut wide open as a result
Berge 5-should have been rested following two international games. Defensively not up to it, when attacking he is talented
Tresor 4-very poor. Never chased, never took on a man, and never went looking for the ball
Amdouni 5-one good shot but dribbled into trouble too much. Having said that he could have scored twice
Odobert 4-very little involvement. He is depriving Larsen a starting position
Foster 7, strong performance, chased and laid one on a plate for Koleosho

Koleosho 5-some lovely dribbling but his delivery into the box appalling
Brownhill 6-should have started as part of a 3 man midfield. As a measure of the man, the only one with the guts to come to the fans at the end of the game to thank us for our support
Larsen-some lively touches then subbed again

Trafford 7 * I am one of those who can't understand why Muric wasn't given the starting job, but I gave Trafford mom simply because none of the others deserved it
Roberts 5 poor allround game plus a stupid sending off
AlDakhil 4 he, like others around him. is looking somewhat shellshocked in the PL
O'Shea 4 I'd soon have spent the money on THB.
Taylor 5 worker hard in defence, but the whole of the defence had no protection whatsoever from our powder puff midfield
Tresor 3 how he starts is totally beyond me. Is he a winger, a midfielder or what. He needs to be on the bench learning about the PL
Cullen 4 watching playing against three PL central midfielders is like watching a 9 year old playing against 15 year olds
Berge 4 somebody needs to tell him this is a serious league we are playing in.
Odobert 3 anothet light weight tricky winger we seem so kean on having.
Admouni 6 there is a decent player in there some where, we need someone to find that player.
Foster 7 ran his socks for the cause...a shame some of the others didn't
Koleosho 4 I'll say something for this lad he is very consistent... he has a couple of good, pacey runs in the first five minutes of ever appearance, then disappears. And that miss was something special.

The first half we looked like a gang of lads who had just got together for the first time for a kick about in the park. The second half was slightly better but Brentford outmuscled us, out ran us and out thought us in every department. VK obviously doesn't know his best 11 and is having problems adapting to the physicality and professionalism of the PL. He, above anyone, should know what is needed in the PL...let's hope he changes things quickly.

Weirdly I think that’s exactly what he did for the third.

Lazily tracking back and not closing down the shot quick enough.

I don’t think that’s quite right - we were defending very compact at that point with 10 men and he was simply in acres of space.

Lazily tracking back for their third? If you're referring to Brownhill he was well in our box when the cross came over that I think O'Shea headed to the Brentford player 25 yards out.

We have players not up to this level of football - YET ...but seemingly not willing to put the hard yards in. A very bad recipe.

Next week's performance will be very revealing and if no significant improvement in the basics then we are in serious trouble. This has the hallmarks of a an experiment which could go really badly wrong if a significant number of these signings do not work out.
