Now worth 100k after today’s shambles. The defence also worth 100k each.

On today's show its possibly the worst pound for pound team.

How we can spend over 100 million and have that defence on show is a mystery

That’s the spirit lads….

I suppose threads like this are only to be expected when some of our fans have only ever seen good quality, successful football.

If you are old enough to remember the bad old days, shame on you for turning on them so quickly.

Tresor has been awful so far but he’s played about 200 minutes or something. He shouldn’t be starting games for us currently or even be close to doing so, but he also cannot and should not be written off.

Worst ever? Ian Moore for £1m which was a kings ransom to us at the time was awful, Leon Cort for £1.5m was terrible but relatively loose change. The obvious ones are Weghorst for £12m who was barely Championship standard and Gibson at £15m. Robbie Brady also offered very little after his injuries and cost us £13m before leaving for nothing.

Those who afforded Foster the luxury of 9 months of patience while he settled are now slagging off Tresor after 2 games.

Bad as a lot of these lads are playing they generally all do kind of resemble footballers which is more than can be said about some of the donkeys we've had down the years.

To be fair most didn’t afford Foster the patience that was needed.

Berge has shown enough in glimpses to suggest there's a player there. Tresor has been a big disappointment so far, he's strolled around barely looking interested.

Probably non of those on duty today.
As reflected above, Liam Robinson our first £1m player. Tony Philliskirk, Wout Weghorst and the various players over the years that we've signed for money and instantly ended up long term injured.

I’m a relative pup at 37 and in my youth I could only dream of a day when a bunch of high end championship players and assorted internationals and sought after youth prospects were duking it out to be the shittest players we’ve ever seen

I’d love to see what the younger lads made of the likes of Williams, Easton, Penny and so on

Remember that time Brian Easton stumbled/basically fell forward dribbling from the CB position and broke through midfield into the oppo half like a drunk Jordan Beyer and half the crowd pi$$ed themselves out of sheer amazement at what they'd just witnessed during an otherwise tedious game? This is the kind of thing I mean when I say all these boys we have today at least resemble footballers.

The worst I've ever seen was either Luigi Cennamo or that French fella Laws signed on loan. Frederick Nimani?
Cennamo looked like a lad from the pub stuck in goal. The latter lad had one YouTube compilation making him look half decent then with ten minutes of seeing him made Gifton look like Marco Van Basten.

Sorry I don’t mean worst signings in general. I mean worst pound for pound so transfer fee and wages.

Richards I imagine was cheap, same with Penny and Cennami. Nimani was a loan.

One of the things that provided brief benefit being involved in sport whenever I lost, I found out who the weak characters were. The ones you don't want alongside you because they're weak and let you down.

This board brings them out, too. Moaning and complaining as though they know better.

We're supporters, not competitors. To be honest, considering the shite we've watched this season it'd be really weird and also a bit delusional if everyone were happy clapping. Folk are just calling it as they see it, and what they see is a crock of $hit. That's not 'weakness', it's a sober take on how we've been playing. A football stand is not a trench on the western front, pipe down a bit pal.

I'm not happy clapping. You'd have to be blind not to see where our deficiencies are and not be frustrated by them.

What I'm definitely not, is some weak throbber shouting about sacking people and trying to humiliate your own players. I don't think people liket that understand anything about being on a team and how you improve.

Ian Moore cost 1 million I think and he was far from prolific .: he always nearly scored 🤣🤣

I still can’t figure out how Tella shot us into the premier league with some outstanding displays and goals and we offered a measly 9 million /:,, then gave 19 million for a goalkeeper who was playing in division 1 … surely should have been the other way round the offers

We haven't given anyone 19 million.... I take it you know that but are trying to be dramatic.... Aren't you?
