It’s the only defence we have mate. Roberts suspended, Vitinho, al-dakhil, O’Shea, delcroix and Taylor are our only fit defenders

Let’s hope Ekdal is back next Saturday then with Beyer then a few weeks behind that.

The thought of going with two from O’Shea, Al Dakhil and Delcroix is frightening. Truly shambolic trio.

Have to agree..
Pace and Co have seem to give him who he wanted and it's obviously not working by a huge scale.
End of the day it's a results game and in this league it's all about money and staying in it

What team would you suggest? We have no other options for the back 4. We already know your opinion on Trafford vs muric and know that muric isn’t going to play a league game unless Trafford gets injured

What midfield would you have that wouldn’t be dominated?

What wingers would you have to help foster?

Honestly I don’t have one.

I don’t see a single team we can put out that beats Bournemouth with the injuries and suspensions.

Your team is probably the best one possible. With Kompanys tactics we will like concede at least 3 with that eleven though

Ahh apologies I thought you were saying there happened to be a better option for starting 11.

We have more than enough to beat Bournemouth if we turn up but that back 5 at the moment has zero confidence in each other

Well obviously mathematically it’s not a must win but to the average person it feels like the next two games are both must wins. Beat the team below you in the table and the get your first home win at the 6th time of asking

Would you be very disappointed and think it was catastrophic if we took say four points from those two games?

Id be very disappointed yes because it would mean we have either not beaten a side below us or still not won a home game in 6 games, to me they are both must wins, especially when the 2 games after palace are arsenal and West Ham

That’s definitely got a Branch / Gnohere feel about it !!

Solanke definitely got the potential to destroy that defence but not really sure what else we can do. I’d say play Taylor as centre back but with Roberts missing then we only have Vitinho who can play either of the full back roles.

The imbalance of our team is astonishing. And knowing this why would we not keep Owen Dodgson involved as cover ?

We have gone from a team where Taylor was 5th choice centre back to him now being our best defending option in 2 positions !!

The frightening thing is that we could have bought THB and Tella for the same cost as O Shea and a couple of those wide players we don’t need.

Recently we always have done well at Bournemouth, I’ve seen 4 wins and 1 draw in the last 5 , that will continue if we play better than yesterday obviously.

Doubt it. But not sure there's much value in rearranging the fixtures in my head and confirming the results before they actually take place. I'd snap a hand off for four points from the next two.
