We've been awful. But giving a manager who got over 100 points in the championship 100 Mill to spend then firing him (thus setting his vision and journey in flames) after 10 games is daft.

He needs to sort the defence out
He needs to explain why Trafford is undroppable

He needs to sort the soft underbelly we seemingly have

It’s wobbled, at this point I think Trafford was a favour signing to Man City to help them with FFP!

He might be a great manager in time, but he’s not ready for this club, or this league, at the moment.

Hate these mass over reactions. So called supporters who have zero patience from a youthful playing squad and relatively inexperienced manager. Supporters provide support. Too many on line posters complaining and whingeing as if we have a divine right to be winning games in Premier League!

We are all disappointed and sick about results but we’ve got to support and try to be positive. People going on about players like Maatsen and Tella plus THB who were never our players is negative and destructive.

I don’t like short-termism, and certainly don’t want Vinny to go…yet. But those saying that he’s got the whole of this season and then the next are deluded if they think the majority of the fan base will accept another 5-6 of these performances. This is rank bad football and honestly an absolute dirge to watch.

He needs to change his tactics ASAP, he needs to play players in their correct position, we need to stop all the sideways and backwards passing brief.

Got to agree the players look absolutely clueless, poorly setup with no tactics being employed, awful passing around the back and an undroppable calamity in the nets.

Massive clear out needed from top to bottom I’m afraid.

Looking like 3 promoted clubs straight back down with every likelihood 3 relegated clubs coming back up. Ipswich the only obstacle it seems.

They aren't good enough for this league, but getting shut of Kompany whilst it's still a massive learning curve isn't going to make the team / squad better.

I'm really not sure why people think we have a god given right to win every week. Brentford just tubbed Chelsea yet a lot were thinking we should have won that too. The way we are playing isn't good, so they have to look at that and learn, stop making the stupid mistakes and then they may scrape something.

Time has to be given.

Would be as ridiculous a decision as sacking Dyche was. I disagreed with that (still do as I think he’d have kept us up and given money would have moved the squad on) but you could argue it turned out for the better as it gave us that fantastic season last year. We deserve everything we get if we get rid of Kompany after ploughing £100m into his project on all of these youngsters.

Yes, 99% likely were going down - so look forward to the fun of seeing a team with an average age of about 23 dominate that league and come back better prepared. This season will not be fun though, not one bit. I think he will sadly get sacked though as Pace has shown himself to be someone with limited patience, no reason to doubt that will change after investing £100m this summer.

Love to know who there is that people think changes the fortunes around here.

How are we not pragmatic enough? We didn’t get out of our own half all second half, we weren’t exactly gung ho.

3 of the back 4 likely wouldn’t be on the pitch if we had everyone fit, doesn’t help at all.

He’s a young manager learning his trade, he’s going to make mistakes and have setbacks, long term I have no doubt he’ll be more than good enough for this league.

We need to keep with Kompany and his plan,.
The prem is getting harder every season and we are not getting a billionaire anytime soon , we may drop this season but will be stronger in the long run.
P.s. I have just read clive holts book and what dyche had to put up with makes him even better in my eyes but even he got plenty of stick on here!!

A few decent managers out there, right now we need someone that’s going to stop the goals going in our net. We might stand half a chance of staying up.

What game are you watching? He did change it, he brought in a more solid 3 in midfield and put Zeki at striker. He has quite clearly changed tactics which I actually think has done more harm than good, I wish we just deployed the same tactics as last season.

Cannot see any other manager working miracles with an assortment of players signed from the lower Belgian leagues by Kompany. Squad lacks balance and any defensive solidity appearing too lightweight for the PL.
