WW3 League suspended

I am of an age to remember how close we came to WW3 during the Cuban Missile crisis. Evidently we were only a few hours away from nuclear war.
Here we are again on the precipice of WW3 but with different alliances about to drift into an all out gradual war rather than some catastrophic 'trigger' event.
The world is now dividing along religious lines among 'smaller nations' but with the major powers slowly, but almost inevitably, being at risk of being drawn in.
We might have no need to worry about relegation as the League will be suspended! (Along with the end of the human race.)

You'd like to think that those of us who respect life and humanity who are in the vast majority worldwide will eventually persuade politicians and religious zealots that if they want to fight let them get on with it on their own and we can stand back and watch.
