Re: Glastonbury Festival Ticket Sale Delay
Seems quite reasonable by the organisers, just the usual moaning from the wet wipes

It has been for 20 years but it’s still the best festival in the worldPtangyangkipperbang wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 4:02 pmI would hate to attend Glastonbury these days in my humble opinion it's lost all is meaning and purpose and full of middle Englanders

I've only had the privilege of attending once, which was in recent years. Would have loved the opportunity to have gone decades ago. I imagine it's a completely different festival now, however I still can't imagine a festival anywhere better than modern day Glastonbury.

Attended a festival in Poland a few years back. More than once when chatting to the locals we were asked why on earth would we go all the way to Poland for a festival when we have Glastonbury at home.
We wanted something different. They didn't get it

I’ve been once, late 90’s
I think everyone should go at least once, my adult kids have no real interest in going though

Went to the last two. Brilliant place. So much to explore. Yes, it won't be anywhere near the original vibe and ethos but I've been to many festivals and it really is the best. Avoided for years thinking it would be too big and overrated. I was completely wrong.

Not that I would be anywhere near the main stage Coldplay and Madonna would be enough to put me off going even more. And I've never heard of Dua LipaGodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 8:14 pmDua Lipa, Coldplay and Madonna are the headliners for next year it’s been announced

5th on the all time singles chart in the uk
Their debut album outsold Oasis album Morning Glory
They continue to sell out global tours and produce music that tops the charts
I think they’ve got 2 albums in the top 30 albums of all time

Re: Glastonbury Festival Ticket Sale Delay
I don't partially hate any musician or band it's just some are not to my taste and it's only my opinion certain acts what have played in more recent times are not in the spirit of the earlier times of the festival.Ii accept times change and that's why I choose not to go these daysGodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2023 3:55 pmNever understood the hate for Coldplay
