Free Agents
I see today ex Man Utd Fellaini is now a free agent and leaving China. He is definitely not the man I would be looking to normally. However when you have a choice between Jay or Amdouini as strikers it does not fill you with optimism, and I hate to say this but I have a terrible feeling we are not going to see a lot of Foster this season if his absence is due to what I think it could be. Fellaini is also Belgian and VK will know him-a short term loan would give us some options. From memory he was not a nice player to play against. Appreciate his wages might be high but theres a couple of high earners we could put out on loan like Jay or Cork (looks like he wont start for us under VK)
Re: Free Agents
Who is going to loan Jay and pay his huge wages? Iβm not sure the dog and duck FC can afford him.
Re: Free Agents
There's no room in the squad.

Re: Free Agents
Fellaini is 35 and his body is knackered. Suffers 2-3 days of pain after each game.
I think heβll retire, if not have a last short stint in Belgium

Re: Free Agents
Hells teeth - the thought of some moron coming in to take Jay Rodriguez from us and cover his Β£40k a week or whatever it is he steals from us
Re: Free Agents
Was thinking to myself yesterday on the game that there must be a free agent centre forward out there that can offer more than Rodriguez.

Re: Free Agents
Free agents will take a few months to get up to speed (if they are good enough in the first place). By then itβs January and the window is open.
Re: Free Agents
Wonder if fellaini is as outspoken as kiko is recently
Lets hope whats doing the rounds isnt taken further

Re: Free Agents
I wonder if Joshua Zirkzee is an option for us. Not free though I think he's not too expensive at this moment. He's everything we don't have. Can shoot from everywhere, can dribble, score with his head he's pretty tall. I think he would be good for the premier league. Very skillful player more like a Zlatan or Bergkamp. Can also play as a number 10/second striker.
Would love to see a more dangerous lurking striker that's always keeping defenders busy. Not just by running much but with actions on the ball and good positioning.

Re: Free Agents
Jean-Philippe Gbamin is available on a free atm.
Had a tough run with injuries at Everton but might have finally got over them.
It is a risk but there was once a very good player there.
If someone is still available on free its because there is a reason such as salary demands or injury history. A club such as ours may well decide the risk is worth it when others wouldn't.

Re: Free Agents
Jonny Evans was a free agent in the summer and I can't help feeling somebody at Turf Moor missed a trick there (with hindsight). Tons of younger players with (allegedly) loads of potential and scope to increase in value seemed the the ONLY recruitment policy, but maybe with a little more imagination and less rigidity when it came to potential signings we wouldn't be in our current mess.
Re: Free Agents
He should be banned from the club for life for what he has threatened and said, also bringing disabilities in to it. Not something a football agent and professional footballers father should be saying.
Re: Free Agents
Did he not get his saudi contract
